Just had a match where a pet gnome appeared in bottom slot…beat all other troops when I got to him he wouldn’t die at first then when he finally did die no pet event triggered…and it wasn’t a fake cuz I’m looking at the defense team now and it replaced divine ishbaala
Make sure the gnome has a bag on the upper left hand corner of the card or else it is possible that card is owned by the player and put in the deck.

Are you sure he died and didin’t escape?
Can’t escape if it never got mana to cast its ability the thing just froze and wouldn’t die then when it did die no reward
