What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:
The campaign weapon, Death Rites, needs 400 stars to unlock, which will be reached in two weeks. The currently scheduled release date for that weapon is in three weeks, one week after it can be obtained from campaign rewards. As a result, players won’t be able to use, or even find the weapon they paid for in their collection.
How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?
It happens every other campaign. Could we please skip the “data files are still subject to change” part and just get it fixed this time? Without letting the scheduled train wreck once again run its course?
Any additional information that might help us finally get a grip on this recurring issue?
Release date for weapon is currently set to 2023-05-29.

p.s. The weapon slightly breaks consistency with Indajit’s Palace faction weapon, so now there is one more faction that has multiple weapons that could be the faction weapon - meaning I need to hardcode this into my bot - this is why the information at the bottom is misleading.
