Theoretically high level players might win quicker.
But as long as I’m experiencing long loading times and 3-5 DIFFERENT ERRORS after every battle, I’m not even close to finishing a battle within 2 minutes most of the time anyway …
When the new PvP mode started, this wasn’t the case. Loading times have become significantly longer day by day and the “error inferno” started after the last weekly reset. Without these errors I could have done a few 100 battles more during waiting time, which would have compensated for the low VP count.
But at least all of my boosters ran down, while I was watching the loading screens between battles. So those are working as intended, even when the game isn’t …
im not saying highter or lower pts based on level of speed of the fight. i am just saying make it the same in position 1,2 or 3 for everyone. that way its fair
I really do not understand the complaints. The top 10 on Xbox has mostly high level players. The lowest level in top 10 is 1408. The highest is 2598. Low level players are not dominating pvp. Most likely because books are not priority for low level players.
the issue is: do you see the difference in the number of battles that they have played. Im currently 8th on xbox and 6th place has played 600 more battles than me but only has 5,500 more VP. The issue is that i have a MASSIVE advantage over this level 2600 player simply because i am a lower level. I get to compete with them while only spending a little over HALF the time they have spent. The difference between a level 1500 (me) and a level 2600 (them) is almost non-existent, yet i am gaining a huge benefit from it. This is just not okay.
They have more time than you do. Very likely they want the books while you want other things. Just took a look at global leaderboard and there are lots of level 2000 plus on it. If they made it where high level players got same points as low level then the whole leaderboard would be filled with very high level players. Maybe they should sell a monthly VP thing where you would get a 50% boost in points like ring of wonder. They make money and you get more points and perhaps they could include a book of every color to sweeten the deal $19.99.
The game has to survive right? How else would it make money when they don’t force you to watch ads? I have bought a few things here and there. If everyone is f2p, the game would have died long ago.
I’m hoping the advantage the low level players have in the short term (as there is lots of easy fodder) will be diminished as they get into Diamond league, with higher level players. Honestly, this seems too competitive (massive time sink) for the rewards right now, so I’m just aiming for a slow climb as a more casual player. Seems every promotion gives you full marks. The wording on the pvp gold mark rewards: “Top positions” as opposed to “brackets” seems off.
The way I see it you still are not getting lots of books but you are getting more than you used to. The question you must ask is. Is one or 2 books worth spending 40 plus hours grinding or would you be better served to get your wallet out or just do what you can and take the low hanging fruit. Some folks that play this game do not work so you are in a no win battle no matter your rank lol.
