"First time is free" bug

What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:
When I lose in Tower first time, I got message about “Try to win Epic battle, first time is free!”. I selected “normal” battle though.

When I lose second time, I got exactly the same message… but it wasn’t free anymore.

How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?
One-time issue, obviously.

Steps to make it happen again

  1. Select “Normal” during first tutorial offer of free battle.
  2. Not able to get free battle anymore.

This is the same as what I experienced in my bug report.

I found restarting the game generally fixes it and restores the free fight. In one case, it came back overnight. In any case, definitely buggy.
