After winning, expected to get reward and moved onto the next stage.
Played epic quest, stage 1, after winning battle, got error, and game restarted.

Won 4 times and restarted each time.

How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?

Same as Epic trials bug.

You can bypass the issue by navigating to the kingdom from the world map and starting epic trials from there.
