Duplicate Guild Chat Notifications (Mobile/Android)

Sorry :confused: - I’m unable to take screenshots of my pull-down notifications bar :man_shrugging:.

What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:

I was expecting to receive singular notifications of each message in the in-game Guild Chat (as normally happens) from my pull-down notifications bar.

Instead, I have been receiving doubles/duplicates! :ghost:

How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?

This happens most of the time - there may have been one or two instances where I received a singular notification, as expected.

I think this started happening at the beginning of the week, or at least within the past day or two. Maybe post-server lag?

Steps to make it happen again

  1. Have a phone, with GoW installed
  2. Have Alerts enabled
  3. Have Guild > Guild Chat boxes checked
  4. Have a Guild member send a message in Guild Chat (can be you, I think)

Hey we’re hoping the new chat in 4.3 fixes many of the issues with the current chat.

Please let us know if it continues after the update?
