I’ve been playing a few Treasure Hunt maps just now, and suddenly it hit me… We discussed Tyri as being possibly one of the few non-sexualized and/or fully-clothed female characters in this game earlier on (it might have been in the previous thread). Well I have news on that front (or on that behind, rather):
We can still give the benefit of the doubt as far as her top goes, but she probably goes to the same shop for her thongs as Atlanta herself. So, that would be a nope.
By the way, have you guys noticed that there’s no way to display the whole picture of any given troop on purpose, now? They seem to have recently zoomed in a lot on the image you get while in the Crafting menu, so only those who are in quests or other special things (like Tyri for Treasure Hunt) can occasionally be seen in full now. In some cases, it might be for the best…
See I personally don’t mind that look because for one you can’t see her behind even though it’s implied, and also she’s rogue-like so she doesn’t need heavy armor and her garb kinda matches that. Women characters can be “sexy” just not overly to imply other things. I also think a Sorceress is fair game personally. They typically are sexy and hypnotic. That’s their lure some would argue. Watermelon bazoongas though? Not needed.
Boob-a-phobia. Millions of women get breast enlargement surgery because they want it. Just like millions of men go to the gym to bulk up muscles. It’s both a male and female fantasy to have the body of a ‘10’
The body of a “10” as you so put it, doesn’t involve melon sized bazoongas. That fad has faded. Again though, this is a part of the conversation and part of the issue. What is considered too much and too little? I think even trying to stereo-type all women saying they all wish/want those breasts are wrong. There is no happy medium to breast sizes. You alienate some in some form or another. Ultimately my argument is the breasts should at the very least make sense in the game.
So, what is the goal here? Women should not bear their cleavage? Art is an expression of one’s imagination. No matter how shallow or abstract the subject matter. Forgive my ignorance, but I just don’t see the “call to arms” here. Women troops cover all categories and they seem to be more powerful than their male counterparts. I just don’t see it.
Yeah if artists wanted to attract males to cards today, they’d be smart to cherish the butt. Everyone has their preference though. I’ve always cherished the booty. There are statistics to show that child-bearing hips are subconsciously looked for and are attractive to men. Which tends to lend to a bigger booty. Just sayin’.
haha I had to stop myself from posting a certain booty meme that may have been inappropriate for this sort of thread. However, high five to what you were thinking, my friend.
