Can we give the endless negativity a break?

As long as so many people likes my jokes and it gives off a strong positive vibe I see no reason to not continue with it. Thank you everyone!

A million percent yes. It’s ridiculous and it’s uplifting and I’m all for it!

Thanks devs for the awesome community week! Loads of imperial deeds and some warcoins to boot. Much appreciated.

I would have all the old warbands now - but got a new one instead. Hope we will see more war coins on the board. That was nice.

Oh the deeds - they just kept on coming! AND a medal of Anu today! Great week.

And I also only have 9 levels left for a class and all at 100.

Oh WTG - I’ve got such a way to go on some. I’ve got 18 at 100 and 16 at very varying levels. I tend to have a team I use for as much as possible and then just change the class each time but it’s a slow grind. Trying to focus on the ones that will increase kingdoms too. I was way too casual earlier on in the game to be focused so am paying the price in some areas now!

I’ve got so many classes that I still need to level. Focusing on the ones I need for kingdoms. Next is diabolist.

Thanks to Gnome-a-Palooza, even though I couldn’t fully farm it the first day, I can now afford to buy all the class favors. Huge help.

I’m working Warden up and it’s the Class event next week so that will help.

My big score in Gnome-a-Palooza was epic ingots - meant I levelled up all my outstanding epic weapons which I’d been slowly getting up. I think I fully levelled 15 weapons as a result

Negativity is kind of a thing in general right now, in the world, and particularly online. :woman_facepalming:

In terms of the game and these forums, though…. There are just a lot of frustrated people. Some are personally frustrated with changes in the past year (year and a half?). Others, like myself, are frustrated because we see good team mates throwing in the towel.

I try to keep reminding myself that this a mature game and as such, people leave because they are just over it. That’s a real thing.

But, if everyone was enjoying the game, there would not be much negativity at all. There would always be a person here or there, but not hordes with torches and pitchforks.

I agree that forum negativity is a downer. But the best way to minimize that is to address the enjoyment. This was my favorite mobile game for quite awhile. That changed around the time of epic tasks and WE. After that it became a grind I was still willing to do. But today? It’s something I am only sticking with for my guild. Literally.

To the point… bad choices by the devs… nay! Almost certain, bad decisions by the publishers, put us here. Happy players don’t slam their game. Unhappy players who want to be happy again, slam their game.

I’m done with all weapons and troops - now it would be medalling.

Warden is on my list as well, but diabolist up to 100 gives me +1 magic. Biggest slog is from 80 to 100 when there’s no kingdom star in between (unlike 60, 70, 80).

I still have classes at 40 and below, too.

Been there with another game I play - and that a game that does a lot to make players happy (people still complain but I think those people are really unreasonable - different story from GoW). They are clever and listen to their base and implement good ideas - and lots of them. Players just want to see that stuff in their game so give out their visions for free - win-win.

It’s the other people that kept me going, and last week we got a new challenge set that was so much fun that I beat my personal best from way back. Still going.

I hope the same thing will happen in GoW, and Gnome-a-Palooza was a good step in the right direction, sadly marred by the roll-out design flaw and skull bug. Still really love it, and it will be fun.

Community week was great, too. Stuff like that should happen more often.

Maybe a forge skroll board next time? Those are still way too hard to get which makes it nearly impossible to catch up. Still waiting for purple.

GaP was a shot in the arm for me too. I really enjoyed that, it just felt fun. I’d even say I found it more fun after they fixed the flaw. Community week wasn’t really fun, but it was a nice thing for the players, which kept my good mood, rolling.

I don’t find the World Events to be fun…and I find having multiple events, or multiple event PLUS GW in a single week, to be a major trudge. So to have something completely different like GaP was very nice.
