Shame they nerfed, the Friday mythic.
I guess, they randomly choose, when to listen to Scrooge and take the fun from the game.
But the font is good, very Norse RPG like.

That’s also time changing that code, that could of been fixing a bug.

Why do you change the font? I think there are lots of things you can focus on and deploy your resources on… things that enhance the gameplay or things that the fan base asked for.

the funniest thing that the issue which can be solved by a font update didn’t solved at all
In english it’s couple of dosens of troops kind don’t fit it’s place
In other languages it’s 2/3 or 2/4 of troops suffers of it

Ow, my eyes. The Bad Font League called and wants their mascot back.
Seriously, this is next to impossible to read now on a small screen. It’s somewhat baffling that there was apparently time to change something that didn’t need changing at all, and zero time to at least get a second oponion whether any sane person would actually do this change.

I don’t like the new font, it hurts my eyes. I also vote for bringing back the old font, which I think is much more readable.
When making changes like this, it’s best to give the user the option to change it; otherwise, it’s best not to touch anything unless everyone loudly requests it.

Companies don’t work like that. Not to say designers have nothing to work on, yet they crave for their salary and bonuses. You HAVE to change things noone asked u to in order to get promotions.

A hideous change that no one asked for.
My eyes will hurt for months before they get used to the font change.
Changing the army colors had the same effect.

Whoever thought this font is a good idea on a phone-sized screen - they’d better have another thought coming soon.
Do we need a magnifier to play GoW now…?

It’s a good title font, but yeah, for body fonts there’s a REASON that simple letterforms reign supreme.

I agree, the titles & headings look neat! But anything smaller than that becomes a hard-to-read white blur on a small screen

I find the text more difficult to read now, but I’ll allow the possibility that that’s just because I’m not used to the font and it will get easier as I get used to it.
Kinda funny though, seeing the new font immediately reminded me of something I’ve seen before

I want to believe that this was a change to the game’s single “default” font, and that the hundreds of references (throughout the UI) are not (yet) properly tagged for whether they are a “title” element (which can afford to use a decorative font) or a “body” element (which cannot).
In other words, this is not actually as simple as it looks on the surface – though it’s still something they shouldn’t have “just” rolled out so soon.
If you can’t fix it, f8.8nt it.
This patch should save GoW. No doubts about that.

I’m curious. When can we expect all the forum and help-pages to move to a similar unreadable font? When will bug reports and replies move to a font that nobody can read? Would make it much easier for you to ignore players complaining.
