Xbox One - Unable to Global Chat

Hey. I did a search, found nothing. Looked in topics, still no good.

Anyone be else having this issue??

I’m on PS4 and chat is working for me, but what exactly are you experiencing? Is the chat box coming up and it isn’t connecting, is the game crashing when you try to open chat, or something else?

You can’t read it in the pic i took, but it says Global (none). I can’t chat there, but can guild chat

Figured out how to get back into Global Chat on Xbox1

For the longest time I couldn’t get back into global chat. It was just a blank gray screen. When I hit down on the dpad it never brought up the join channel option. When I went to guild chat it would bring up the join channel option, but it didn’t do anything. The trick is, go to guild chat and press down to get to the join channel option but don’t hit A. Instead hit the bumper to go back to global chat with that button hilighted. It will carry the join channel button over to the global tab at …
