Even though the story does not come out and say it i feel like borialis dies and then his bones are found by finley who ends up taking to katar where they are resurrected as bone dragon. Also i think that the book in question that our elf is holding is the demonicon and the only one to wield it is the hero. So what are every one’s weird theories around certain troops.
I think @Nimhain is the Winter Wolf come to life and causing the game to be created to show the humans about this other world that exists, but currently can only be interacted with via the game. Her long term goal is to open a portal between the two worlds and allow free travel between them!
