I level every troop I acquire to 2.
That way whenever I open chests, I can just eyeball the level of the revealed cards. Any “level 1s” represent new arrivals to my collection.
You can also get them all like me and you won’t have any problem :3 (Jokes aside, your idea is actually very good and simple. I never tought about it)
