Our plan is to cycle old free event weapons back into the game in some fashion.
Unsure exactly how we’ll do that yet, they may appear in glory-reward bundles, but I wouldn’t rule out having them appear in small $5 bundles… we’d ideally like to add some really small high-value bundles to the game, in the theory that a lot of players who are playing for free might actually give us $5 in much the same way as you might tip your barista or cab driver for good service.

I think @Nimhain gave the same answer, because it’s still the actual answer.
From a player’s perspective, adding an extra purchase to the shop probably seems like a small thing to do… understandably.
From a development/production perspective though, we need to ask a lot of questions and coordinate a lot of people/tasks to add a new purchase.
We need to ask ourselves should they be free or paid?
We need to consult data for what price points they should be at, and/or what should…
Event weapons will return to the game in some form, we haven’t decided what that form will be yet. We’re still discussing it.
We do have some mono color troops coming to events soon.
We always try to announce when the Imps change around in the chest. (Winter Imp being the exception as he kept getting back into chests after we announced he had left
We are investigate ways to bring back previous event weapons in the future. No ETA at the moment though.
Did I miss any? There is only one mention of weapons-for-Glory as a possibility, but it was mentioned in the same sentence as RMT as an alternative. I haven’t seen any comments from the devs regarding weapons-for-Glory since they started the occasional cycling in for RMT.
