Stellarix is stupidly overpowered. Change the 3x back to 2.1

As I stated many times before, this is the nature of the game. The AI has way better luck/rng than the player (at least, for me). My Wand And Stella miss just as often as they extra turn. The AI rarely misses. When guild wars first started, I noticed how lucky the rng was for the AI (cascading extra turns here and skulls there). It is what it is and messing with weapons and troops will not address it.

I played last two days in brown, i dont have Stella and i didnt use THE WAND, win rate 59 and 9.
The mode is broken the troops/weapons are fine.

It’s a good question. Very likely depends on a lot of factors like region, enemy team, and troop selection.

I found it very helpful to use Zuul or Zuul 2 to directly kill the opposing wand of stars (if present).

Don’t try to counter Stellarix with Stellarix. Too risky.

Snap freeze and silence can help as well. Yesterday I went into the monster region with a troop I usually don’t use, Shoggorath. Proved itself to be very useful.

Now I can’t off the top of my head tell you everything I ever tried against any team/weapon/troop but I’m saving my teams on my own discord server so I can easily copy them if I need them. Makes it way less annoying because I’ve sorted them by restrictions.

Some frenzy regions I will not touch because the troop selection sucks.

Outside of pvp does the wand or stella hurt your enjoyment of the game? If no, then they are not the problem. pvp is.

Please do not nerf any troops, build new counter attack team I use Wand of Stars + 3x Tashska for color days and Wand of Stars + The Gary King, Diamantina, Zuul for another for example.
I am level 1526 and fighting in pvp no problem and I am always on the leaderboard weekly.
Last, Blood frenzy room means survival mode.
GoW PvP should be challenging and difficult to beat not expected to be like E1.

Stellarix has given explore 12 a new lease of life for me, i don’t do pvp and definitely do not want this troop nerfed.

I’m very time obsessed when I play this game. If it takes me less time to fight 100 battles and lose 13 of them, than it takes me to fight 87 battles and lose none of them, I’ll take the 13 loses.

My favorite thing about these stellarix wand teams as enemies is that there is nothing there to slow down the battles. You will not be saving any time by winning every battle but the battles are drawn out with summons and webs etc.

I think the no hero version of this pvp was more fun. But if fun is off the table now, I’ll take the fast meta.

Level 1565, Kingdoms at Level 16 to 17, playing the game for more then 7 years.

I didn’t mean replacing the experienced players with newcomers, but you won’t be able to bring back the players who have already quit. The point is, if you make game areas like PvP unplayable for beginners, then the beginners will quickly be gone!

I think I belong to the established players myself! Leading my own guild!

You are absolutely right, it is very difficult to bring old players back who have already quit.

But this game is focused on players who pay real money, not new, not old, only payable. At this stage, I do not see any options for new player to catch up with at least mid ones.

Regarding PvP, it is only one out of many game modes and there is nothing special about it. If someone likes it - great, if not - great. But PvP is not the mode around which the Sun turns. I play PvP till goals are completed, nothing more.

The PvP mode needs to be changed, not something strong.

Regarding your level, you are a mid game player and, obviously, you can’t expect to run through the game in a blink of an eye. Some Defence players are over 2.5K so…

The old pvp was not really for newer gamers anyway it was always mid to end game accounts, and without any data on old accounts and new accounts its pretty much speculation anyway. All I can say as a end game player is im playing a lot more now , im just looking forward to new goodies in the PvP shop ,hope they drop some Boss troops in there.

Really? If you’re not stubborn like me and waiting in hopes they’ll fail and you can still win, it takes a few seconds to lose.

And PvP is really not a good place for earning gold.

We can earn more VP/h with frenzy regions now, too.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not against fixing the issue with PvP. I’m just against nerfing troops and weapons to try and fix the mode when the actual issue isn’t the current PvP meta but the lack of player set defenses and of 3 difficulties for battles like we used to have.

Depends on how you define newer players. I had no issue doing PvP in 2020 when I started as there was always an easy battle to do. That’s missing now. However…

It’s kind of weird… We’ve been complaining that newer players had it way too easy to beat veterans in terms of VP.

Now that’s gone because winning in frenzy regions is tough, and people are complaining about that.

I’m finally having chances again at landing in the top 3 if I put in the effort. And I, too, like the PvP shop. Still waiting for the last missing pet to come around, and got a few books in the meantime.

But we kind of can’t have it both, it being easy for new players to win PvP and hard for them to beat veterans. At least I wouldn’t know how.

I do not think anyone here is advocating having pvp being unplayable for newbies. Some of us are merely suggesting that the problem is the design of pvp and not certain troops and weapons. As such it should be the design of pvp that is reworked, and not troops and weapons that exist all over the rest of the game with zero complaint.

I WILL say that if the ONLY way to make pvp playable for new players is to wreck the rest of the game for ALL players, I’d probably vote for pvp being unplayable for new players. Luckily it is NOT the only way to fix pvp for newer players. :wink:

I was told stellarix was overpowered?

Three words: spell shield monolith.

Then stellarix becomes a liability. Freezing it kills their whole team. Pop the wand first and its over. You can take at least 1 stellarix cast with spell shield and seasons medals. I went 130-16 in yellow blood frenzy today. Battles took no more than 20-30 seconds

Until you fund out stun removes that.
And most of the times shield doesn’t help you but only allows to survive 5 more self looping casts back to back with :slight_smile:

Of course! The meta always gravitates towards the easy teams.
