Most likely they would do the cost of leveling as the multiplier. I would be all over that deal for even garnok at 2500 souls.
That’s ‘hoard’ mode. Horde mode is something out of Warcraft.

Reasons why I refunded Celestasia. 
Just put Herdmaster in the Team against that hidden Troop and you turn it into the pre-Ascension Common damage range.
Every Troop and every Trait in this game has a hard counter to it. 
Or Mercy. Mercy’s my BFF.

That’s what the devs have implied, I believe. There’s no way to know without official notice from them.
