(!) Spoiler Alert (!) -- [Any Details Provided are Subject to Change] (Part 1)

Definitely would have Death Touch as one of its traits too.

These informations are coming from some game files availables to all.
Famine will be more about decrease skills + disease.
And Pestilence about drain mana + damage.

looking forward to see what the 4 horseman bonus is gonna look like.

Apocalypse Troops cannot have lower than 1 Life when using 4 Unique Apocalypse Troops :wink:

Mawmageddon
All Great Maws instantly destruct into a stream of forum QQs.

In seriousness, though:

Lord of End Times
All troops gain +1 Attack for having 2 unique Apocalypse troops

Duke of End Times
All troops gain +3 Attack for having 3 unique Apocalypse troops

King of End Times
All troops gain +3 Attack and +1 Magic for having 4 unique Apocalypse troops

i hope they buff that cause the imps get i think 3 different stats from their kingdom. I hope all four will also be the same type.

They do, but:

Magic and attack are weighted much more heavily than the other stats are, for kingdom bonuses. The math works out to be roughly as strong as the other kingdoms’ bonuses.

That’s not a spoiler :slight_smile:

It’s easily observable by comparing the bonuses…

Traditionally 1 Magic = 2 Attack = 4 Life = 4 Armour… I assume this is still how the weightings work…

Each kingdom got 10 ‘points’ of bonuses (that is, equivalent to 10 Life), such as +3 Attack +1 Magic, or +2 Attack +6 Armour, and so on…

That is exactly how the weighting works, with this formula;

Magic = 4 points
Attack = 2 points
Life/Armor = 1 point

Type Bonuses:
3 Troops get 4 points to spend
4 Troops get 8 points to spend

Kingdom Bonuses:
2 Troops get 2 points to spend
3 Troops get 6 points to spend
4 Troops get 10 points to spend

Type bonus +2 to magic,
Kingdom bonus 1+magic,2+attack,+2life
Would be interesting for a combo.

I was wondering if anyone knows what the traitstones are going to be for Famine? Wind or Earth or Nature? Light or Mountain or Forest?

That data (colors and costs) comes from the server/store, but there are some hints in the client-side data that are usually correct (incorrect for a few troops, like Winter Wolf). If they are correct for Famine, it’ll be 21x Forest, 21x Mountain.

All troop information that we know so far is here, subject to change and faulty mining of course: Famine - Troops - Gems of War Database

Interesting to note that the assumed double Khetar event has a Brown/Green and a Brown/Yellow … but they’re both stinking ultras so good luck :stuck_out_tongue:

I have 35 and 20 respectively now so I might actually be able to trait Famine.
(And 27 Green/Yellow if its that…)

Thanks for the info. I was hoping it wasn’t going to be Mountain. I only have one of those. :smile:

Was asked to spoil people. One of the new troops that’s coming has a power many people have been awaiting for a long time.

HELLCAT
Epic Daemon
Horrid Strike (12 Green/Purple)
Transform a selected Mana color to Red. Deal [Magic + 1] damage to a random enemy.
(Daemon Bond, Fireproof, Aflame)

That just leaves one more…

Hm? Again? So soon too. (I assume within the next month, I might be proven wrong next week.)

I won’t complain, considering it makes the Arcane more reasonably priced than the last time, but still.
I know one person that’ll be quite happy about this news, should they not have taken a vacation around it’s release.

I don’t know if it’s next week’s troop, but of the currently-unreleased troops, it’s one of the few with a defined spell – so I don’t think it’ll be more than a few weeks away.

…it might actually be a new kingdom on the way, actually, based on the number and variety of new troops coming. They seem to fit a theme, and there is work being done to one of the unreleased kingdom slots… hmm…

This was actually in response to a new hoard of “spoilers” being revealed next week like every month, not that it’ll be released next week. (That’d be WAY too soon.)

I assume it’s within the next month as well, which is why I’m reasonably surprised. Barely a month since the last Arcane of that color.

Can probably make a horribly-slow looping team with [new troop] + Alchemist + Green Seer…
