As a newb, I don’t have many of the combos listed here, but I DO have Skellys! What fun! I’ve been doing the same with Rock Worms. So glad I bought the Orb.

Nice, though seriously lucky with some drops!
How do you have 0 losses after 1.7k matches? I would assume at least once you would get beaten by unlucky situations, especially on 100% buff.
yep, this video show some lucky (i made it faster, and i have luck at this time), but try it you’ll understand even if you lose abho and valki you win
Normally i take my time to play, some reflexion… and as you see i don’t play in warlord 4 because defense can one shoot your troops. Hope this vidéo won’t nerf this team, it’s not an ultimate team, you can lose abho, valki and slime in unlucky situation, but with time and reflexion i never lose…

Wow that’s pretty cool! I posted over in the Necro Valkyrie thread with a team I boiled down to:
Green Slime
Valkyrie (Necromancy)
Alchemist (Merchant)
Keeper of Souls (Necromancy)
Banner of Progress (R/Y)
Been very happy with this setup although having Slime in front can be risky in the few battles that drops don’t go my way. Also thought of replacing the Alchemist with another troop…thought about another Green Slime, a Giant Spider or the like. I never thought about the Arboleth!

@KAYA43V3R Ouch, I certainly hope that sharing a team does not end up with Devs breaking out the nerf bat. I seriously doubt it does… looks around anxiously
However, I have previously been using the team you mentioned specifically and other similar ones like @Emos suggested.
If the stars are aligned against you, the one you discussed can be very risky. I have been shut down with extreme prejudice a few times and I play only on Hard difficulty right now.
Also, for those of us that have fewer traits, I wanted to point out that the team is still viable. I do not, for example, have the KoS trait and still earn a good amount of souls. I have not leveled the troops yet, either. So that may make a demonstrable difference, too.
I don’t have many traits too, see the video… 1rst trait for keeper and slime, and 2 traits for valky, that’s all…
as you can see I place the slime in third position, that leaves him time for him to grow…

Yeah if you decide to unlock Leadership on Arboleth it’ll be even more brutal than it is now. There’s just so many troops with good traits and not enough stones to go around

If one does not possess Slime and Keep of Souls, is there an alternative?
I have not pondered a team without . Maybe the other person are ideas on the subject…?
But Valkyrie is a rare, and still more accessible… an idea based on valkyrie team…?

This is just a guess, and I want to emphasize that this has not been play tested, but Giant Spider is another purple mana generator, and Skeleton or Bone Dragon might substitute for Keeper of Souls. . .

I played a lot this team:
Abhorath/Alchemist/Valkyrie/Banshee
But Skeleton can be a good other choice for the 4th position, as suggest RiverSong.
Just a little warning about Abhorath: sometimes he’s very cool, he creates a new board with some 4-turns or free skull but sometimes, it’s the opposite… Yes, he can also change the board and give one 4-skulls + 3-skulls to AI… And if you play in W2+ that means a KO for Abhorath.

Giant Spider is also nice because it has +1 to purple matches on its first trait - if you’re using it with a Skeleton or two, a mana surge will fill immediately (assuming you’re using Karakoth’s +2 purple banner).
