Here’s a screenshot of an in-game chat message:
Leaving aside the question of whether “shit” ought to be on the blacklist, here’s the notification I got from iOS about my chat message:
removed image to keep it PG-13 - Kafka
Yikes. That notification is extra salty.
What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:
I suppose I expected the censor to actually modify the character strings when it processes them. Instead it appears to look for blacklisted strings and then (1) replace them with **** in-game, and (2) pass the unmodified strings to the OS for notification purposes.
How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?
Has happened at least twice today. Once when a guildmate got (understandably) frustrated with the Lyrasza’s Lair faction team, and again when I tried to reproduce the issue.
Steps to make it happen again
