Just as an FYI: I tested Soul of Xanth?? earlier today the Y/P mana steal weapon from the Forge vs the boss (in case of coding bugs/etc). No luck.

Raven should be in any mode this is ridiculous i need to wait 13h for more or buy them, and people say it’s not pay to win lol
in all of this, I don’t think the old treasure gnome drop rates could even balance out the gem costs here.

This isn’t an event where you can grind indefinitely and wasn’t intended to be. The sooner you get over that the less disappointed you’ll be.

I think the real question is how far can you get for the whole event without spending to more than tier 2 - 3? IDK that anyone can answer that yet.
It’s important to look at the raid event separately from the leadership board.

Im at level 100 tier 2 ran out of sigils we will know at the end of the week i guess 
To each their own. Call it what you want. I’ve spent enough for VIP 3 ages ago and haven’t spent more since and don’t feel I need to unless I decide to send a little more cash as a thank you for years of fun.
The fact that some people are obsessive about collecting everything and feeling they have to spend money to get things faster or getting more of or even just to be the top in every category is on them (and I echo an earlier sentiment of thanks to those people for keeping the game profitable for the rest of us to enjoy).
In short, raids won’t get me to spend more money, i’ve got lots of resources to blow if I feel like it, and I still enjoy the game including raids.

Exactly it won’t make people spend more they will quit playing this is worst but i agree the dev don’t need people who don’t spend money so i guess its a win win
In my case i know where to put my limit but there is several people who can’t make their own limit and it’s where it can be dangerous, when the game is affecting your quality of life. When people decide to spend all their money in a game instead if food. This is a disease some people can’t control themself and need to spend over and over.

Just in case me saying here I’m quitting caused this current debate: I am not quitting because of 3.3. I wanted 3.3. to make the game fun for me again, but that was already basically asking for the impossible. 3.3. only has a minor impact on that and raid is the smallest part of it. If I have to put numbers on it, I’m 90% quitting because of lore, 9% because of snotstone increase and 1% because of raid.
Not that I’m in any way important, but I just want to avoid that someone instrumentalizes me saying I’m quitting for their agenda. I would have quit even without 3.3. ever happening.

I can’t. If I happen to be in a guild where some people are willing to participate further along (for leaderboard or various reasons), then progress will surely sky rocket. If I’m in a guild where everyone doesn’t pay for any tiers, we’ll make very little progress into the raid event.
This is where i think there is a problem, im currently not playing cause i don’t pay to continue playing not because i can’t go further or the boss is to hard to kill

I’m sure this will ultimately normalize. Guilds will probably institute minimum boss levels/damage dealt to boss thresholds. All guilds have a few over-achievers (much like with sentinels). Shouldn’t change dynamics too much.
Lore, as in the stuff that gets posted here on the forums when a new troop is released.
And yeah, “snotstones” is what the event points are called on the forum (for reasons I never found out).
Many in the forums stated they resembled boogers xD. And Sheba i hope you stay somehow in the game. Who cares about the lore? You can do the fanfic you want and share it with us. For example on my mind Gard is evil and loves to burn his victims and always aims to kill with overkill. I need meds xD.

Huh? Why would lore make you want to leave? I barely ever read it. It’s such an inconsequential part of the game?!?!?!
