What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened?
After winning the PvP battle, the rewards screen displayed Victory but gave less gold, no glory or PvP points and no trophies.
Referring to the Battle Log it recorded my win as a loss.
What are the steps to make it happen again?
Unsure. It happens every now and then.

This was not the first time to happen but it drew my attention because of the lack of rewards.
In many occasions the rewards are the same as any PvP victory.
