If you let non-elite players craft the weapons/mythic when they get enough stars, possibly at a discount, people wouldn’t have a reason to bitch about pay2win.
But I’m happy to pay $1 a week.

My bad, I had a brain fart last night when I replied here… Mithran is correct, if you complete Campaign Tasks you do need to open the Campaign menu to get the next task to start facepalms at herself
You weren’t the only Dev to have gas in the brain.
The players who aren’t on PS would appreciate getting the patch as well. The notes would also be nice.
Perhaps an alternative (easier to code?) to not having the Artifact bonuses carry over for the 11th (ToD) week would be removing the 10th level of Artifact upgrades. Squish the bonuses into the previous 9 levels .
I’m going to wait until I actually play one of the new campaigns before I formulate an opinion on 5.0.0.
Until then, my mind is full of nothing but cat videos.
Don’t know if this is huge or not but it looks like everyone except Blade Dancer took a hit to their attack stat. I don’t know much about the other stats but the attack stats are the ones I always notice because most of the teams I use rely on skull damage.
Arcanus and Savage Hunter’s attacks went from 38 to 35. If I also recall correctly Umenath’s went from 41 to 38. This is just off the top of my head.
Are you in a guild that had both attack guild tasks finished last week, but currently don’t have them both completed?
Well I know this because I looked at the cards themselves on the troops menu. The ones on the right not the ones on the team column on the left. The day before yesterday I looked them over and I remembered Savage Hunter’s attack was 38 and Umenath’s was 41.
My guild usually only completes the regular tasks and the one for attack is always completed on the first day.
Just putting out there that there may be something I missed but I am 90% sure a lot of the attacks got nerfed
Could still check Taran’s logs to see if this is the case for another week or so.
Any nerf would show up in the “changes” tab
EDIT: Went as far back as June 25th, and I saw no evidence any troops had their attacks reduced. Maybe you’re missing a team bonus, had different medals equipped, or something else was going on.
You know what? Another reason could be I’m a putz. There is definitely a huge chance I could be wrong.
@awryan - I probably jumped the gun on this when I shouldn’t have.
Guys, the only reason I thought that is because Blade dancer is still the same but it might be because this is his kingdom week (I think?). Regardless, I probably jumped to a conclusion on this one. What can I say? I’m a pre-ejaculator. Sorry if I caused a stir for nothing.
We didn’t do any Troop or Weapon balance changes with the update, we plan to do them separately to updates.
So, does this mean that “Shade of Kurandara” troop will be in the forge rotation a month from now? Or a month from the end of campaign.? Kindly clarify this. @Saltypatra
Shade of Kurandara (released today) is an Epic troop and will be in chests when the campaign ends.
The Mythic, Kurandara, will be in chests and soulforge rotation after the ending of the current campaign, probably 3-4 weeks.
“SoK will be in chests when the campaign ends”
This sentence does make sense.
“The troops should go into the chests a month after release”
This, I have issues with. A month after release for SoK would be at the end of 6th or 7th week of campaign.
That’s all I’m saying.
