Regarding Guild Wars Change Suggestions - Official Thread
Notice: These are core concepts, if you would like a modification of any of listed concepts please vote on it and specify your preferences in the comments! I kept the concepts “generalised” to see how many people agree to this sort of concept in general (otherwise the votes would spread too much!)
Notice2: “Custom rating” is similiar to a “team score/team power” but calculated in a different way described in corresponding suggestion entry - applies to gw defense team only. It does not change the original “team score/team power” of the defense team, just introduces another (new) variable. Does not equal to gw points. GW points are the points earned in gw fights and showed in gw ranking.

QoL:
- Show separate/additional GW BATTLE LOG for gw fights alone
- STOP RESETTING GW DEFENSE teams! Especially don’t reset it into a pvp defense team. if you must reset it, make it a separate, selectable team slot. Perhaps even make the defense teams to be pinned to its corresponding colors - so during reset they are assigned to the appropriate color-corresponding wars (opponent guilds).
- Allow to TEST GW DEFENSE teams directly, regardless to pvp defense team
- Release GW TROOPS INTO GUILD CHESTS right away, dont hold them to be gw-exclusive at all → concerns all future gw troops as well
- Add a button to MAX UP ALL SENTINELS → or “All to lv3” and “All to lv5” buttons → or allow a number choice to go with it → or a “Complete this sentinel” button
GW Gameplay changes:
- REQUIRE HEROES to be used in gw fights
- REVERSE SENTINEL BONUSES for gw attacking (leave bonuses for gw defense the way they are)
- LOWER SENTINEL COSTS or adjust sentinel cost according to gw bracket, or change sentinel costs to require-easier obtainable resources
- Rework of the 4-COLOR team BONUS: change +X to Mastery to +X% to Mana Surge
- Rework of the 4-COLOR team BONUS: change to Gain bonus +1 Mana from color Gem matches (like a link trait).
- Completely remove LOOP BREAKER / CASCADE BREAKER from guild wars → bring true RNG
Schedule timing:
- Allow more FREEDOM to choose WHEN TO FIGHT in gw (even if at cost of daily wins) - especially allow to do all the fights earlier to leave few gw-free days at the end of gw-week serving as real life emergency insurance
- Regularly schedule WEEKS completely GW-FREE
- Allow gw FIGHTS even AT REST DAY
- SHIFT GW WEEK to start at different day, so the weekend is not last day of gw
- Give out MORE GW ENERGY towards each day(war), perhaps reward unused energy with a few extra gw points
- Give MORE GW FIGHTS overall per week (and give appropriate amount of gw energy needed to attempt those attacks)
Gw points distribution:
- Allow more freedom to CHOOSE WHICH OPPONENT to fight within the corresponding opponent rank (especially after a failed gw attack)
- Allow more freedom to CHOOSE WHICH opponent RANK to fight (preferably allow to fight each rank once, regardless to win count)
- COMPLETELY REMAKE OPPONENT CHOICE SYSTEM so that all defending members must be defeated and each attacking member can choose who of those to defeat (more cooperation within a guild, similiar system to “summoners war”)
- Allow a guild with LESS THEN 30 MEMBERS fighting in gw - to not suffer in the gw ranking progression (see link to another poll below, regarding how many members is ok)
- Allow AUTO-COMPLETE gw fights for selected/missing members
- More CUSTOM WAYS to gain BONUS % POINTS, example: for using troops with daily/weekly Dev-choosen spell effects
- [DEF incentive] Extra GW POINTS for dev-choosen daily/weekly TROOPS AT GW DEFENSE (would probably require locking the defense)
- SHIFT POINTS DISTRIBUTION among members according to their rank → paragon can earn most
- Set MORE CRITERIA by which to determine points → example: damage dealt

- Grant EXP TO STATUE of corresponding color for each personal gw fight victory
- Give one copy of weekly GW TROOP for each personal gw fight victory
- REMOVE DAILY WIN concept & rewards alltogether
- CHANGE DAILY WIN exp % bonus TO GOLD % bonus
- Better DISTRIBUTION of the rewards → a little less for the 1st few ranks and more for the lower brackets / ranks below
- Rearrange rewards to also REWARD ranking WITHIN A BRACKET
- CHANGE REWARDS WEIGHT within a guild to reward members according to their actual activity towards that gw → example: reward according to personal victory count, or personal points gained, or personal fights played - in comparison to total done by the guild
- Give EXTRA SEALS (or other resources) for each personal gw invade victory
- [DEF incentive] Assign ADDITIONAL GW DEF REWARDS (resources) example: one reward per week (per troop) for a successful defense including that troop
- [DEF incentive] Assign ADDITIONAL GW DEF REWARDS (resources) if certain RATING requirements are met → example: rewards for each milestone of defense win count that meets the rating requirements → uses custom gw defense rating (please select a “custom gw defense rating system” to go with it)
- Allow each player to CHOOSE WHAT REWARD they want to get (gems, seals etc)

- Arrange completely new PERSONAL GW DEFENSE TEAM RATING SYSTEM → troop rating changes with personal count of how many times you used that troop in gw defense → example: troop used 0 times will give lowest rating, troop used 1000+ times will give highest rating (please select an incentive or restriction to go along with this “custom gw defense rating”)
