Orb of growth its a slap to the face

So far bounty gave me

1 minor ascension orb
1 major clan orb

As I havent see Blue orbs since 1 month, I consider 3 green orbs and 1 blue a very lucky drop too.:laughing:

Iā€™ve been very fortunate with the RNG and out of the last 6 Orbs, 4 have been Wisdom, 1 Clans and 1 Growth :+1:

Dear dev, I hope that sooner or later you will find an intelligent way to make us end users use these expensive resources. maybe convert them into something useful? I have faith

This weekend for orbs has been a mare. Bounty orbs all growth major and minor. Vault key orb of growth and pet orb also growth. Seriously this is such bad luck. I have over a million souls and dawnbringer . Ffs this orb issue has to be sorted

Souls are probably never getting worked on. It isnā€™t healthy for the game. If the devs made something that uses souls, lots of end-game players could get it immediately. Then everyone else would be at a disadvantage because they donā€™t have 1,300,000 souls saved. Much better to introduce new currencies so everyone starts out equal. Then guild, play time, and real-world money will determine how quickly one advances.

They already introduced a soul sink in the past. Dawnbringer was 1 million souls to forge. Needless to say all endgamers got it almost immediately upon releaseā€¦

The soul forge is great but has limitations. Souls and the orbs of growth are something the devs have to work on . Maybe they could look at some sort of trading station or Bazaar. Each week giving different offers. Trading souls or other items of excess for gold or keys . Or even a Dark casino where the currency is souls.

The solution is not by giving ways to transform orbs in the forge but in correcting a broken (read dumb) drop rate of blue orbs.

14 of my last 16 orbs have been Growth. The other two were Wisdom. If the goal of Raids, Invasions and Bounty is to get people to spend gems then the ridiculous drop rates for these orbs certainly isnā€™t the way to do it.

If they start making more mythic weapons growth might be useful! Wisdom on the other hand not so much.

I still rather have a wisdom orb over a growth orb. I can use them on mythic traits when Iā€™m low on its arcanes (especially when Iā€™m not in the mood to farm or wait for its stone to show up in glory rotations.).

15%! Wow, you must be lucky to get so many Orbs of Ascension. I would love to have such a high drop rate. Iā€™m in the 8-10% range.

Point being, Souls are a whole lot easier to get/farm than Arcanes, Seals and/or multiple copies of the same troop. The fact that we get Growth Orbs more than everything else combined is super crappy - not only for the endgame folks for which Ascension and (maybe) Guild Orbs are the only useful ones, but for the average low-level player who could use the trait and rarity boosts way more than saving a couple Souls during a level up.

As an end-end-game player with 1M+ Souls and dozens of each Arcane in the bank, the ~15% chance at getting an actually useful orb isnā€™t nearly worth the grind to get there. I do it for the guild because other folks still need ā€˜em, but itā€™s nearly always a waste of my time.

Pretty much this.

So when its going to be really screwed up and give us way too many of one and not the other/s and we canā€™t even craft Zuulā€™Goth on schedule - here meaning however many years from now - wellā€¦ its unappealing.

Exactly Raid and Siege, take so much time with boring limits for what to use and defeats the purpose of playing like you want. Even GW are better and i hate it. I do all for my guild. Rewards are bad like today i got 3 orbs of growth more.
