lol if the mythic costed less then 2000 glory id feel we are getting then unfairly cheap and its a rip-off on devs pockets
Even 2k Glory feels cheap, considering that it is a farmable resource. I’d rather take the middle ground here, something like a rotating single-buy weekly offer for a high amount of Gems. It’s more restrictive than Glory, not an auto-buy for just about everybody who is playing the game on a regular base. It’s less restrictive than cash, it doesn’t entirely lock out F2P players, while still allowing those willing to pay real money to take a shortcut. And it doesn’t allow anybody to outright buy 4 copies of a highly desirable Mythic in what might feel a little like a P2W move.
yeah, ill be fine with 5k or even 10k glory, was just shooting a first number that came to my mind as an absolute minimum dont put too much weight on it please

I think it’d be better to make Mythics (and other things) more available using some other mini-games. Crafting or Alchemy. Ideally something to use up excess souls…
Excess souls? Not familiar, enlighten me.
I’m somewhat torn by this one. I think every player should eventually be able to get every troop, provided that player puts a reasonably high amount of effort or cash into it. I also think no player should be able to get every missing troop at once, no matter the amount of effort or cash put into it. Crafting for souls is pretty tricky in that regard, it could possibly allow players sitting on enough excess souls to obtain every future new troop at Mythic level right when it gets introduced. Adding a severe craft timer to such crafting might keep that in check, like 2 days for a Common, double for every rarity level, up to 64 days for a Mythic. Possibly allow lowering/raising the craft timer by spending much more/less souls (e.g. assuming a Mythic would cost 10000 souls for a total of 64*10000 = 640000 craft units, paying 320000 souls would get the job done in 640000/320000 = 2 days).
i do not think souls should (or would) be the -only- resource required to craft mythics.
more probable that a variety of new resources would be added just for that purpose, while still could include souls in the cost as well. so relax man
You do make a piont, when a legendary comes out as a glory reward it is 500 glory and takes about 3000 glory to mythic it in that one week. However i was going by the pattern of rarity which goes up 100 glory per rarity teir from common to legendary. (3 commons for 300 glory please, i wish it was 100 glory for one plus all the cool stuff from the glory pack but meh.)
Why not have the mythic available for 2500 GEMS??
This is more than the cost for 50 VIP chests, but it guarantees a Mythic.
It also encourages RL $ purchase of GEMS, the established currency for the game.
I think it should also be a one time purchase, so you can’t get multiples from $.

She’s almost 500 levels lower than me and has those mythics whereas I have none. I’m sure we are extreme cases at opposite ends of the scale, but there needs to be a way for people cursed with bad luck to enjoy these new troops.
for the statistics, im 450~lv, have 4 out of 6 mythics
and i have nothing against giving the ppl who are less blessed with rng a fair chance to get em, i just hope that could include f2p ppl as well since i know sooner or later my luck wont show up
Just some weeks ago we had a member who out from pure luck, pulled 3 differently mythics in about 2 weeks. He had none of those before, nor a lot of resources(I think). The RNG is crazy, I know, but don’t give up your hope.
RNGesus is simply NOT fair.
I know “over time” it will equal out to the same ratio for everybody BUT the real problem is that RNGesus does not DEFINE that time frame.
So where that noob (and I mean that with the highest regard and respect) pulls a 3 mythics in 2 weeks, I have pulled only 2 mythics in several months of play and FAR more resources than he.
That is why you include Pity Counters, so that every unlucky chest opening chips away at the counter to get a mythic that you do not yet have. Then all of those chests become small victories instead of small defeats and this is GREAT for the psychology of maintaining your player base.
I’m level 1070 and have 2, one of which is the absolutely useless WAR “what is it good for? absolutely nothing, say it again!”
