Money, that hasn’t been earned yet, is still fictional. Even though it’s common to calculate with expected income, it’s still not a real loss if things go sideways. Especially with home made prices for a virtual product.
On the other hand. Customers that have been loyal for a decade and already paid with money and time. That’s a real win (or loss, if they step away).
Many companies and even economies thrive on “fictional, virtual money”. But as someone that got a major business degree and worked in companies that actually earned money, I might be old school in mind. And therefore value loyalty and effort of paying customers more than expectations of shareholders or greedy companies …
I’d be willing to bet they are now intentionally holding off until AFTER reset so that they can just wipe the entire day and not have to deal with even more issues of some being able to do today’s dailies and others not….Just my opinion
Again. I’m not complaining about taking back what was not meant to be given. Remove those gems, souls, whatever. No problem with that. But on the other hand value our time, money and effort the same way. There’s (probably and estimated less than) 10K players left on all platforms. Some of them contributing, paying and playing a lot. Why would anyone want to upset them so much that they stop financing your income? Because that’s what is happening right now. By making one mistake after the other and not owning them, instead punishing the player base over and over again, some company I won’t name here, burns money faster than a level 3000 player with all stats and troops can one-shot a level 12 battle in explore.
A small periodic ping with a ballpark ETA/developments (if any) would have gone a long way: as it stands, the silence is having the predictable same effect it used to have with the old ‘mods’, who had a documented appalling communication track record.
All this complaining, but what’s the solution? Everyone is whining about this, that, and the other, but no REAL way of solving the issue. They are rolling back the clock to “solve" (in their way) the issue….what’s the alternative? And going through EVERY individual account to see every move was probably never a viable option
Right, but YOU keep running your mouth how they’re so wrong…..this is what they believe is the solution…right, wrong, or indifferent, it’s better than whining relentlessly
There are barely any needs of hiring. The current devs need to get out from puzzle quest. And setup proper boundary checks for all kind of mails and rewards across the system. So this situation wouldn’t be possible by design. Sadly we need yet another useless currency and features like stars.
Not at all….I’m part that’s going to be losing a bunch of progress. I’m just realistic on what they can actually do since sooo many people blew all those gems.
And THAT was the real solution….to never let this joke happen in the 1st place….lol
Can the dev team just test their code before releasing pls? How does a simple compensation turn out to be a devastating bug like this. I don’t think the playerbase can handle that “brilliant” level of such coding technique. So be simple, ok? Testing before releasing, ok? Just follow the bloody textbook, no surprise pls
