Once you have all masteries even, you can keep them even every 30 levels by always taking the left-hand option.

Or, if you want your masteries all even every 6 levels, take the option you’re lagging on, or if both are equal, priorities in this order: Yellow, Red, Navy (Blue), Lilac (Purple), Green, Brown. (That’s reverse alphabetical order, with the name changes.)

They absolutely can and it’s a better option than reverting all of the valid plays and real money spent for the day. When a company screws up, the customers should not be the ones paying the price.

Well when there’s a chance your progress will get reset later because they made another mistake, yeah, it’s not worth playing anymore.

I do quality control and customer service. If I can fix an issue for a customer, I fix it. If they are complaining about company policy or company culture, I respond with, “If you do not like the way we do things, stop being a customer.”

I’ve played this game on several platforms ever since they launched it. This is the way they have always done things. All in all, it is a great game. It took me an hour this morning to get back to where I was and it is still fun for me to play. If you aren’t having fun, stop playing. If you don’t like the way they do things, stop playing. If I was customer service for this company, that is what I would tell you because that is the honest truth.

This game is something like 11 years old. Most games don’t last anywhere near that long. That tells you how good and successful it is. I have spent well over $1000 on this game over that time. This was slightly annoying and I am over it and will continue to play as long as it is fun.

As long as we keep playing and only complaining, they will do whatever they want to do as there is no consequences for them.
So as a protest I’m not going to play for at least a week.

My 100 burning mark draw suck-diddly-ucked this time. It takes me a long time to get 100 burning marks. Yesterday I got a gold idol and decent immortal points. This drawing was filled with silver marks and like 20 immortal points. All my bounty work is gone. I understand taking back what you gave, but you took back what I earned. I feel stupid typing this about a game. Like really really stupid. You made me feel stupid, at a time when I can’t really afford to feel more stupid. Eff everyone and everything

An interesting (possibly unprecedented) opportunity for testing though: could anyone confirm whether the rewards for your Treasure/Guardian/Whatever rooms in Underspire are different this second time around on the same spots? Curious whether these are preset at the beginning of the week, or rolled on the spot :folded_hands:

Underspire is the same tho.

I lost my perfect dungeon. I pick the same 3 every day.

Different.
I had done one common guardian room in the Underspire prior to the incident - 2 minor stones. The same room after rollback - 5 jewels.

You do not know that it wasn’t a security breach either. I don’t like the fact they said it with such confidence like they know it for sure but it’s absolutely not far fetched to believe it could have been a breach. It could have been just a regular player. It could have been a former employee. A security breach is not just “the russians” or “the chinese.”

Calling people brainwashed for bringing up a possible security breach, is very rude of you. Security breaches happen every day. The only time we hear about them is when they cause damage and are caught. There are plenty that are not caught.

Many of the erroneous things that happen on a daily basis to companies, are results of security breaches. Breaches do not necessarily equate to being hacked by an outsider.

I am not defending the company either way but calling someone brainwashed for floating the idea out there that it could have been a breach, is wrong. If Bob in accounting accidentally pushed a button and did something he shouldn’t have even had access to do, that is also a security breach. Sounds like the commenter’s point was that we will never know what actually happened.

it’s comparing apples to pogo sticks, obviously you can’t directly measure one against the other

but by this point the amount of damage they’ve done to their players in terms of time wasted, event/PVP/scoreboard progress undone, rewards erased, and goodwill squandered is reaching the same order of magnitude to what they “lost” in their original screw-up.

the difference being, a screw-up is accidental and forgivable. everything they’ve ripped away from us in the aftermath was a deliberate choice.

the mishandled gems could’ve been wiped away with a script the same as the 13,000 shiny keys were. for the players who got oodles of illicit gems and promptly dumped them to complicate the undo process, penalize THEM. roll THEIR accounts back. don’t tamper with the people who did nothing wrong.

no one should be surprised to see these things so horribly mishandled, it’s what they do.

but when their FIRST RESORT is penalizing their entire playerbase for THEIR OWN mistakes (with the added insult of going radio silent despite promising communication), they tip their hand and show unmistakably that they have no respect for any of us.

if I vowed never to spend another dime on this game it’d be a bit toothless – I’ve already made and held to that vow for years now.

I just hope this snafu brings a few others to weigh it like it deserves and do the same. you mean less than nothing to these devs, and they deserve less than nothing from your wallet or your loyalty.
