Library Compensation Server Rollback

Go give them a 1 star rating on Google play and say what happened. That will get their attention.

Shit happens in every game. But only in this particular game this shit always costs 50 gems, no matter how strong we are covered with this shit.

So all our plans on normal compensation are useless…

12 hours later to get the rollback completed.

Look, I get why you did it. But after all that time, no sigils for the day missed in bounty or ToD. Plus having to do all of it over again.

I did not spend gems I wouldn’t have had without your error. So you punish me and the others who didn’t cash in on your mistake. I’m not happy.

Agree! At this point, I’m postponing all possible donations till this matter will be properly refunded in the highest in game currency - Astral Stones and Dragonites. The hint - 50 Gems won’t change anything.

@devs, you must start to send decent refunds and regain some respect. Otherwise, soon enough, all loyal donators will show you the finger (most probably - two).

Think, but the best would be, calculate.

I’m daily active in this game since day 1, bought all passes every time and always a bunch of other things ingame too for supporting them but it’s all over now. Congratulations to the devs for killing another whale - good fight, good night.

Well, I also could say that if it’s painful for you read, just leave forum or something like that.

You see, it is not about what everybody got yesterday, it is about devs attitude regarding such issues.

Have you seen their replies today? Any? No? That is because they are spending their own time, no doubt, quality one and do not give a flying damn about those who yesterday spent 2, maybe 6, 10 hours to make their lives in quality. Not mentioning those ones who paid real money to get 200 - 300 stones to get a bit of magic. And so on , so forth.

Where are the star stones and gold marks I earned yesterday? Where are the torches that I bought yesterday? Can’t buy 6 packs today. Already finished US and might not do now that progress is reset and shortened by 1 day.

Where is the purple book I found? Or the 3 elephants for upgrading my delves? Where is the orb of power I was rewarded? The major gold orb? The major and minor purple Orbs? The Dragonite?

Where is my bounty progress? My trophies? My time? Where are my ToD sigils? That’s 3 big events basically worthless on top of all the other major inconveniences your mistake has cost us. On top of money, time, effort and trust.

At this point I probably was robbed of stuff and effort way more than your lousy 300.000 gems …

My Underspire guardian battle rewards were different (which surprised me). I has a yellow guardian battle and got some kind of resource the first time. Redoing it after the reset gave me one of the guardian troops (I have them all already so didn’t pay much attention to which - I think brown/red mana one).

Compensation should be commensurate with the enormity of the cock-up. I suggest:

1000 gems

300 diamonds

300 star stones

12 books of deeds (2 of each colour) and 2 Imperial Deeds.

I don’t think this is disproportionate and many would probably ask for more.

What kind of compensation are you talking about? I am sure that when they send us ā€œthe most generous 50 gems compensationā€œ - they begin starving for about a month…

Well, I said that years ago, here in forum on Nov. 2022 and in March 2024, just two examples.
I suggested to wait for buying new campaign pass, you loose nothing.
Players keep complaining and still spending money, I can’t understand it, sorry!
When is it finally enough? When do these whales stop spending money?
Start to vote with your wallets!
Next week is the final week of the current pvp pass.
Everyone can just wait to buy the new pvp pass for let’s say two weeks or so, what you gonna think devs are doing if no one is buying the new pvp pass in the first few weeks?
Maybe 505 will have a talk with them, maybe not; at least it is worth a try imo.

If you’re going to take the game offline, please mark the servers as offline.

I spent ages yesterday trying to connect. I don’t lurk on the forums - I don’t even USE the forums. Having checked the server status I thought it was a problem on my end, only to FINALLY find this post / thread after hours of troubleshooting.

It’s not too much to ask to update the server status to accurately reflect the status when you proactively take the servers down, is it?

Don’t even start me on the impact of the rollback…

Safe to say this one didn’t.

Anyway, in my case I was sad to lose out on being able to finish my usual play session Friday (before everything went down – including Switch which would be quite weird if the rollback was related to anything 9.1 specific, since we still have not received the update yet!).

However, on the bright side:

  • My leaderboard Orb of Chaos from Thursday’s Class Trial was re-rolled for better (Orb of Wisdom, previously Orb of Growth)
  • Better reroll of Daily Offers
  • Friday’s Underspire exploration (before the outage) yielded only dead-ends, so with that rolled back I knew exactly where NOT to travel, and was able to find the zone 4 boss in extremely short order today

If something like this happened at my job…..something that effected all of our customers, I can’t see any single coworker of mine taking the weekend off. I suppose it could be compared to my job sending a virus to all of our customers. Everybody would be emailing customers, calling them, discussing and apologizing on social media, and our marketing and sales teams would probably not sleep a wink over the weekend.

Yet here, not a peep from anyone. No apologies.

Do they not care enough to stick around on the weekend and apologize to us right away?

This is absolute crazy. It couldn’t have been handled any worse unless the game was offline the entire weekend.

i go for the end first. since the update, that takes me about 100 rooms, or less than 900 gems for the week. i usually buy 6 50 gem torches and 5 100 gem torches since the revamp.

and i have torches left over to go back and get all the treasure rooms i uncovered.

i do not finish the entire map. i understand y’all probably fill out the map as you go, but i’d suggest that maybe going for the end and filling out the map might be a better strategy

in this case, at least, it means i lost nothing, the torches did not matter to me.

i’m only posting this because i’ve seen some folks here say they’re not going to be able to get to last room because of this.

i hear the president did it to distract ppl from certain files….

These days, to complete the entire Underspire? I’ve found it ā€œbestā€ for myself to buy 50-100-150 on Mon-Tues-Weds, then to buy 50-100 on Thurs-Fri with the idea that I’ll trudge through the six zones and splatter all seven bosses no later than Friday morning. I usually buy 50-100 on Saturday as well, and then do the whole ā€œpay as you goā€ thing for whatever is leftover on Sunday. With the idea being that I’ll clear everything other than ā€œordinaryā€ dead ends.

Because we lost yesterday’s progress, I went with 50-100-150 this morning and I figure it’s possible I might have to do something similar tomorrow. Which is annoying, both because it means spending more Gems (which I do have, even absent the 24k I was sent in error on Friday) and because some of my Sentinel battles dropped torches on Friday but didn’t today.

But I also find that if there are limits to what I can buy/do on a daily basis, the best way to knock out the weekly goal is to push faster and further earlier in the week just in case ā€œsomething happensā€ later on. (Such as my getting overwhelmed by work and not playing.) It’s easier to ā€œplay from aheadā€ than to catch up.
