You do not know that it wasnât a security breach either. I donât like the fact they said it with such confidence like they know it for sure but itâs absolutely not far fetched to believe it could have been a breach. It could have been just a regular player. It could have been a former employee. A security breach is not just âthe russiansâ or âthe chinese.â
Calling people brainwashed for bringing up a possible security breach, is very rude of you. Security breaches happen every day. The only time we hear about them is when they cause damage and are caught. There are plenty that are not caught.

Itâs so odd that people think this way. Yeah right, a security breach happened right when they said they are sending out compensation. What a .001 percent chance? Again, mind blowing. The lengths people go through to defend a company that constantly messes up and does not respect the dedicated players.

Many of the erroneous things that happen on a daily basis to companies, are results of security breaches. Breaches do not necessarily equate to being hacked by an outsider.
I am not defending the company either way but calling someone brainwashed for floating the idea out there that it could have been a breach, is wrong. If Bob in accounting accidentally pushed a button and did something he shouldnât have even had access to do, that is also a security breach. Sounds like the commenterâs point was that we will never know what actually happened.

itâs comparing apples to pogo sticks, obviously you canât directly measure one against the other
but by this point the amount of damage theyâve done to their players in terms of time wasted, event/PVP/scoreboard progress undone, rewards erased, and goodwill squandered is reaching the same order of magnitude to what they âlostâ in their original screw-up.
the difference being, a screw-up is accidental and forgivable. everything theyâve ripped away from us in the aftermath was a deliberate choice.
the mishandled gems couldâve been wiped away with a script the same as the 13,000 shiny keys were. for the players who got oodles of illicit gems and promptly dumped them to complicate the undo process, penalize THEM. roll THEIR accounts back. donât tamper with the people who did nothing wrong.
no one should be surprised to see these things so horribly mishandled, itâs what they do.
but when their FIRST RESORT is penalizing their entire playerbase for THEIR OWN mistakes (with the added insult of going radio silent despite promising communication), they tip their hand and show unmistakably that they have no respect for any of us.
if I vowed never to spend another dime on this game itâd be a bit toothless â Iâve already made and held to that vow for years now.
I just hope this snafu brings a few others to weigh it like it deserves and do the same. you mean less than nothing to these devs, and they deserve less than nothing from your wallet or your loyalty.

Go give them a 1 star rating on Google play and say what happened. That will get their attention.
Shit happens in every game. But only in this particular game this shit always costs 50 gems, no matter how strong we are covered with this shit.
So all our plans on normal compensation are uselessâŠ
Finally lessons learnedâŠthey will never ever see any penny or dime from me ever again, iâm so done with their behaviour!

12 hours later to get the rollback completed.
Look, I get why you did it. But after all that time, no sigils for the day missed in bounty or ToD. Plus having to do all of it over again.
I did not spend gems I wouldnât have had without your error. So you punish me and the others who didnât cash in on your mistake. Iâm not happy.

Agree! At this point, Iâm postponing all possible donations till this matter will be properly refunded in the highest in game currency - Astral Stones and Dragonites. The hint - 50 Gems wonât change anything.
@devs, you must start to send decent refunds and regain some respect. Otherwise, soon enough, all loyal donators will show you the finger (most probably - two).
Think, but the best would be, calculate.
