At least the update came out a week late.
Imagine if this was last weekend with all those gnomes getting undeaded in that first 15 hours and saved by hiding behind a server down message for how long?

Most likely since the game is offline. Should be able to update once itâs running again.
I say should because if your device is too old then that is the only thing that prevents folks from being able to play new updates. Usually.
Itâs now ~8:11 pm in Australia, so this has been a Saturday day issue, not night..
..other factors aside.

It was a Friday afternoon issue I think. Reset is 6PM Melbourne time.
It just took until mid morning Saturday for them to do anything.
Remember the old days, when something was always broken when they walked out the office on a Friday afternoon. The new factions were always a hit, knowing the troops that didnât work wouldnât be fixed until the event was almost overâŚ
Still my favorite was the release of the 2nd batch of guild guardians into gold keys. That was the one they managed to fix in overtime

They didnât fix everything about the second wave of Guardians. Thatâs when the troops shown on the battle loading screen stopped corresponding to actual troops in the battle, and Iâm pretty sure other things about the in-game database broke at the same time. Itâs never been addressed, and has actually gotten worse over time.
I wrote that when it was 5pm in Australia. For something they said a few hours.. itâs gone way past that.

My memory is quite vague on the mechanism, It was first gaps, for some reason everyone got unlimited gaps for the first few hours and ended up with huge resources and vault keys. They were not taken back. I know this because I thought oh Iâll get to that tomorrow - and tomorrow it was all over. But most of my guildies had these huge stashes.

They couldnâ take it back, it worked just as advertised. They even showed on their stream that you could get unlimited resources and encouraged players to do the same.

The longer they keep the game offline the more people are going to find other things to occupy their time and potentially never come back.
Donât mind them taking their resources back but they canât give me my time back for yesterday. Not impressed with how theyâre handling this or lthe lack of communication.

I donât understand why we needed a rollback in the first place
So, a young account gets 35k gems or more. Yippie. Spend on gem keys, spend on Dragonite etc. Catch up a little. How is that a bad thing? It will motivate new players , exactly what we need.
And for long time playersâŚ.the gems will go on the already huge pile of gems collecting dust.
The risk of destroying the game data with a rollback is not worth it

I know a low level player who got really motivated by the resources they received and spent the day excitedly levelling up. That engagement will be gone now.

Not at all. I saw the mail and never collected it. Donât care about gems.
But a lot of players can use them . So let them! This game is impossible to play when youâre a beginner account. It needs so much time to catch up just a little that people just abandon it and start something else

This game is entirely funded by microtransactions and they just gave out hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of their premium in game currency and you want them to just say âOh well, silly us!â and leave it be? Get a grip, it was a mistake and mistakes need to be fixed like it or not. Everyone needs to suck it up and quit whining.

The game is funded by people buying kingdom pass, pvp pass and now astral spire pass.
I doubt many buy gems
But I agree on the point that people should stop complaining. Letâs just hope the rollback works
