Never purchased gems but I’ve spent a lot of money on passes etc I don’t need any of the resources they sent out but for low level players it got them excited about the game and when the player count is so low on Xbox it’s potentially detrimental to the health of the game to take that enthusiasm and time spent away.

every month there are vault weekend, which might provide you with 10k gems if you work a lil bit on it, up to 50k if you have free time to spare.
Gems never were the rarest resource. Time is.

So am I to understand that you think they’re okay with denying us notifications about tribute opportunities starting in October 2024 without providing any compensation in return? Their mistakes are okay when we “suffer,” but not when it directly affects them?

Of course nobody buys gems, the prices are utterly absurd, but they are still the centre of the in game economy and you can’t flood the game with them without hurting your income from other transactions, that’s basic economics.

If I had 1 million gems it still wouldn’t stop me from buying campaign and PvP passes or lanterns. I think engagement and player retention far outweighs a bunch of gems floating around. More likely to lose players over them walking a full day back.

What do you expect?

More than anything, the problem (and the cause of a lot of the forum hostility), is due to the arrogance, lack of transparency and communication blackouts from the devs.
A simple post of

  • The rollback will affect this and this *everything
  • still trying but its harder than we thought
  • might take another hour
  • Sirrian got a Tinder match and we’re calling it a night. Back in office after Easter…
    At least having some idea what is happening would be nice

Seriously. If you say a ‘few’ hours, you should be back in a ‘few’ hours to give an update either way

Concerning: I had completed Underspire yesterday before this fiasco started, so rollback may have gone beyond the beginning of the mail issue.

Okay so all my Citadel points from yesterday are gone, plus I have fewer sigils now…I had 111 when I last looked, now 104. Those were purchased for cash! Now I am supposed to spend my time submitting endless tickets to try and get something back for something I did not do wrong….but was the game’s fault? So you know what? Just don’t feel like playing now. Don’t know if or when I will feel like playing again.

Star Fragments from yesterday also seemingly gone.. I’m assuming they’ll look into it eventually, but it’s looking like a full day rollback..

Here’s to hoping for some official communication, which has been appalling through it all so far.

I had completed Bounty event, it’s reset now. Underspire has set me at 14 torches, I had bought up to 22 yesterday. Can’t rebuy the torches, still have 3 bundle limit for today.
