There’s a big flaw in this logic that journey loopers are the only troops non-end-gamers use - how long players are supposed to be stuck at this level where all they can use are journey loopers? If I had to play with journey loopers for months on end, because nothing else would work, I’d give up on the game after literally two weeks.
Also, one more thing: how many events actually permit reasonable looping journey looper teams? And how often these events actually happen…?
i rarely used pathfinders outside of journey, mindless loop teams annoy me at the best of times, but with the way journey works how do we make it so points are not lost dur to going over 10 turns?
There was, nothing quick, in, them??? The Queen, Bee is the, faster to loop. The Zuul"Gothic one, button win button, press once delete was in name, created, after Ghostbuster boss (also, my best dinosaur, Zuul Crurivastator). Rowanne, should, Row-ban as killing 4 enemies once press once. Tesla, gorgonzola. Ban all, ban new players, with, no stripes.
Do you not think, the Devs have data on troop use.
Blame your own guild mates, who promoted these troops to lower level players, cos you wanted event rewards.
Yeah, I know you can’t see any problems. We can all see that.
With how much you post on these forums you can’t really play the game all that much. Or you have nothing else in your life that you think it’s totally great to have player spend even more time on the game - or real money - to make up for bad game design. And on top of that you have the time to taunt everyone else on this forum.
There are still no good choices for not losing points.
Punishing players for advancing (giving fewer points the higher you get in the event) does not make any sense. No matter what you think about that.
Even though journey isn’t a very difficult event, it’s no fun anymore. Therefore everyone should stop wasting their time with the event. Or even the game at all … @Kafka
I can see one very huge problem, having to pay three times as many gems for the same rewards as before. Because the reward thresholds were conveniently left untouched, even though we now get much less points from battles.
I was looking at another calculation and it showed 12 167… maybe it was the first one after 7.3 changes, which got reduced later.
Looking at the LB - T4 is still possible. I was looking at the global LB, we had at least 2 people reach 10 500 points in 90 battles or less (T4 is 94 battles). And there’s now one more person with 81 battles and 10 404 points.
The fact that the official response is “they’ll only loop 3-5 times now, not 25” shows a complete lack of understanding about how these troops (and the game itself) actually work and suggests that the ‘fix’ is equally ill-informed.
Not to worry though, TheTruth says everything fine…
Possibly players who bought the Headstart offer for extra points. And also possibly players who bought multiple tier 7, which allows them to avoid scoring penalties for longer.
So you are going with the 1-2% that possibly think this change is BALANCED and FUN.
Adelwing is not a looping troop - like 80% of the times it does NOT make enough gems to make a 4/5 match. Instead Adelwing leaves 1 or more 4/5 match(es) to the AI. And this is with a 4 x beast team.
Then sure: sooo balanced and fun - sarcasm
If balanced and fun means: The Journey troops is now a troop you HAVE to use because of it’s trait to multiply the miles earned, BUT you will not use the Journey troop ( just like the Doomed Weapon in Tower of Doom) because it surely does create gems, but not enough to keep your turn most of the times.
Then sure: sooo balanced and fun - sarcasm
If Balanced and fun means higher level fights will take so much longer and you will have miles deducted from your total score. You will loose more fights. This means fewer rewards or you will have to spend much more time being frustrated and spend more gems to get the usual rewards
Before this nerf, the fight were looong and boooring but at least possible because you could loop your way to victory.
Then sure: sooo balanced and fun - sarcasm
Balance and fun are NOT words to describe this ridiculous nerf.
