There was a second Journey, got my achievement then.
The trait is annoying but the troop is otherwise pretty good if you are a player and totally wipes your team with infinite extra turns if it is in the AI team.
Note about the Journey event achievement: To get “I Would Walk 20,000 Miles” you need to reach 20k miles during a single event, which will take lots of gems and time.
