No, they’re saying good players tend to be more efficient and use fewer actions to win, which is true. Time & speed of play isn’t a factor.

So I can lower my opponent points by setting a defense team with level 1 troops? Because it will lower the enemy total damage.
4X Astral Spirits / Sprit Foxes as defense already lower the points with the Empowered (lowering the mana efficiency) and True damage (lowering the damage efficiency)
Or you know. Put in Elspeth or Sacrifice as my defense to kill my own troops.

I almost think this week should be a strictly trial run where all guilds should get the same rewards regardless of rank so we can help work out the kinks.
Obviously every guild would stay in their current bracket as well.

does anyone figured out how mana efficiency and damage efficiency works? is using troops with huge mana cost better than low mana cost? does constant refilling+using mana helps? does agile/skin/armor trait affect damage efficiency? does using status effect like poison/burn shows i’m bad at dealing damage?
is using gard loop team gets you the best score?
The problem is they changed too many thing at the same time and create many problems they should just change 1 thing and see how it work if it fine then add another thing and keep going that way it is more easy to find where is the bug or problem

Yeah, that’s a mess. Your post needs more attention.
- All fights 300pts
- Counting only the 27 best scores of the guild
- Obligation to set up a defense made with 4 troops of the colour of the day.
Imo that was the 3 only changes that needed to be made.

There were two weeks with no GW and many people making suggestions for changes…
Changes were made to try and make GW “more fair”
Now predominantly the same people who wanted changes are pissed about the changes that were made…
Why? What needs to be done to make everyone happy?
Nobody agrees with what i would do so making me happy is off the table so…
How should GW be changed that wpuld make everyone happy?
Automatic win with max score and a pb&j to boot…
People would still complain that they wanted grape jelly and got strawberry

Why am i a troll? Because i think the outrage being expressed here is silly and unnecessary? Or because i habe a different opinion than you? I thought namecalling was against the rules but apparently not if the target is vangor… Then it is fair game

For the record i was one of the few who didnt want any changesbto the points system and everyone said i was too stupid to understand and i was a troll… Now because i am jot outraged at the changes that i didnt even want i am stupid and a troll so no matter what i am stupid and a troll so it seems that i am the “bad guy” as long as i share my opinion…
And btw you dont even know what my solution is so how can you say its not better…

First i never called you that and what i mean is your attitude really not helping to improve GW at all, you just say i told you and now it happened so just shut up. But we are all here to give our feedback and improve the game. Every feedback are welcome even if you disagre with them that doesn’t mean they are not good and dev shouldn’t listen to them. So as i say you like the changes, fine but some don’t like them and their are in their right to express their opinions

Ok but we stumbled on my biggest beef with these boards…
When GW went off line and the devs asked for change suggestions i didnt like many of them… Did i have a right to express my opinions? No i was called, as i said, too stupid to understand and i was nothing but a troll. In all fairness not by you specifically that i can remember but by several of the very people posting on this thread…
So now that the changes have been made and people are angry my opinion still is not welcome so how am i to take that? Everyone else has a right to express an opinion but i am not because if i do i get called names… I was already called a troll on this thread and i can direct you to many more where it has happened

So I know stuff is perceived differently. So this is what I’m hearing.
I have not heard anything about rules. When you all are talking about rules …we wanna know the rules we wanna know the rules…I hear…May you please tell me the precise way to get maximum points out of the formula.
And then from what I can tell there isn’t one. But I don’t know crap. As far as a true gamer I’m at the bottom of the totem. But it sounds like play style has a lot to do with this.
I just wanna play GW.

Cooking is great like that. The first person to make ice cream didn’t have a recipe. They tried a couple different ways until they got it right. Also, not every ice cream recipe is the same, but they all can be tasty.
Let GW be liking cooking. We don’t know the final recipes yet, but over time we will play around with it and figure out what works.
