Fix True Damage and Devour Teams w/ a Counter Trait

And all not being strong enough to matter!

I’m of the opinion that the counter to true damage is simply troops with high health rather than high armor. I don’t see how a trait that turns true damage to regular damage is any fun. It’s too simple, too hard of a counter. I’m not sure why I don’t feel the same about the status immunity traits, however…

I think I’d rather just see a line of spell damage resistance traits, akin to Armored / Stone Skin / Granite Skin.

Picking up on the OP… Interesting trait idea but I don’t see it being a great counter to the true damage teams in the meta, unless it also say halved the true damage taken and took it off armour… Even then, it’s suggested for troops that won’t get much play time…

There’s already a great counter to true damage teams, which every player can easily get: Rowanne… With exploders or blue or green mana generation, she can easily outpace the true damage guys…

And Paladin.

But I do love the idea of a type of spell damage armor that works like armored, stoneskin.
