Sometimes its worth trying pure faction (non event) 500 towards the end of campaign when the artefact has given you decent boost. Several factions can be beaten at pure 500 with horde 100 plus kingdom level 14 and it will save you a lot of resources and time to do rather than doing it another way (horde level/event). Earlier in the campaign just progress as suggested.

Mostly I try at L 100, 200 and 300 a pure delve havent reach higher yet thanks for your tip!
