Frankly, it’s impossible to know until all your Treasures added up to 900% Quailty upgrade chance, then someone (not me, still bad at math ) could come up with great formula to guide you all the way with each 9 upgrades.
If you don’t want to wait, that math you quote me (that I made in the very early Delve release. ) in other post still hold true, confirmed by Actreal.

Sacred Treasure ×5 = Awesome!
Most effective way. You got maximum exp and % quailty chance by using minimum gold
Sacred Treasure x2 = Okay.
Maximum % quailty chance, but a bit waste of treasure and gold
Priest’s Chalice x5 = Nice.
Easiest maximum % quailty chance. Minimum gold spend, but using lowest Tier of treasures possible, so you get much less exp.
Sacred Treasure + Genie’s Lamb + Gold Ring + Coin Purse x2 = Nice.
A bit complex, but still get maximum 100% quailty chance. Minimum gold, but lacking in exp.
Coin Purse ×5 = Not good.
While you spend the less gold, your quality chance is only 25%, so it bound to fail. You get a grain of exp. as well.
Coin Purse x1 = Bad!
You just waste your gold on entry fee, and get screwed by 5% chance. Better save it for later and combine with other Treasures.
Waiting for perfect Treasures to drop might slow progress down. Players might have to sacrifice more gold to progress faster with the Treasure they have. Doing 100% quailty upgrade batch 10 9 times might be the best realistic way, and there are quiet many combinations possible; 20×5, 50×2, 50+30+20, 30x2 + 20x2, 30x3 + 5x2, 25x3 + 10x2 + 5, etc…
