Campaign Begins: Monument of Stars

New Campaign Begins

A brand new Campaign begins today. Queen Titania has invited you to the Festival of Stars in the Bright Forest.

New Heroic Gem: Mana Potion Gems

During this Campaign, we have a new Heroic Gem that players may encounter in puzzle battles, the Mana Potion Gem.

Mana Potion Gems when matched with their color or destroyed, will create 7-11 Mana Gems of that Color. They exist in all 6 Mana Colors, but there is no Skull version.

Mana Potion Gems will occassionally (but rarely) drop like regular Gems during the Monument of Stars Campaign. Some Troops and Weapons will also be able to create them.

Once the Campaign is over, they will no longer fall randomly though the Troops and Weapons that create them, will continue to function.

Artifact: Monument of Stars

During this Campaign, players can earn Stars to level this Campaign’s Artifact – the Monument of Stars. Each new level will expand the story of the Campaign and also give Skill Point bonuses to all battles (including PvP and Guild Wars).

(These bonuses will only apply during the Campaign and are lost when the Campaign ends).

Elite Pass Rewards Sneak Peek

We have a sneak peek at a few of the rewards that will be available from the Elite Pass reward track.

When the campaign ends, players can still earn unique rewards in the following ways:

  • Fountain of Stars – They will start appearing in chests 3-4 weeks after the Campaign ends.
  • Celestial Flask – This weapon will be craftable from the Soulforge the next time during their Kingdom’s event after the Campaign ends.
  • Portraits, Emojis and Titles – Like Social Collectibles from Events, these will become available to purchase from Gems about 3 months after the Campaign ends.
  • Starlight – As this pet is cosmetic, she will only be available during special Pet Rescues after the Campaign ends.

New Tarot Card: The Star

The Tarot card for this Campaign will be The Star.

2 battles in and more than 5 potions later, one must wonder what is their definition of ‘rarely’.

I’m loving those new gems!! At least for the first few ones, need more testing… :upside_down_face:

Previously, the color of Book of Deeds in the campaign pass always matched the color of the final (=featured) kingdom in the campaign: purple for Khetar, yellow for Suncrest, blue for Leonis Empire, green for Maugrim Woods.
Now we have red Books in campaign pass although Bright Forest is green kingdom :man_shrugging:

Full mana for the whole team on the very first turn, due to potions dropping in and triggering multiple follow-up cascades. I’m not sure how much this new feature will be appreciated during Guild Wars…

Not a fan of these new potion gems. 1. They make the battles take longer. 2. They are just as likely to gift a 4some to the enemy if not more likely.

Why couldn’t they just have gifted a bonus 5 mana or something when matched? Why add even more RNG to the game?

A step up from lycanthropy though.

Not a fan of potion gems. I want to play match-3 game, not slot machines with potion gems…

15 minutes can save you 15% on your car insurance or have a 15% chance to bless all allies this turn.

“Bless a troop” seems to be the go to trait when no one can think of a better one.

       it is a complete sentence!!!

Honesty potions going to be a great mess on Guild Wars, potions make board almost impossible to control,no way you can think two moves ahead, any explosion or destruction of the board now are more dangerous than never, all the time given more RNG to the game this literally make me feel tired,it’s so simple to add some mana ( or some positive effect like enchanting?) when you match this potions? Why simply create random gems on board?

Any other colorblind players having a hell of a time telling what some of the Mana Gem colors are? I’m mildly red/green colorblind but I’ve never had trouble telling those apart via regular gems. And even now that’s not the pair that’s throwing me: It’s Yellow/Green and Blue/Purple that I’m having difficulties with, go figure :sunglasses:

LOL Potion gems>>>>>>>>>>lycanthropy.

I’m not colorblind but to me the brown potion gem really looks more like it should match with skulls than with brown gems.

Remember the years of feedback stating we don’t want weapons that transform gems into skulls creating gems as well?

The devs answer…Mana Potion Gems.

The fact that Magic Boosts from artifacts don’t kick in until Week 5 and Week 9 again. (Same as last Campaign)

Shows that the devs still lack the fundamental understanding of what’s appealing about the campaign.

Less focus on gimmicks, more focus on basic fun please. :slightly_smiling_face:

Can we have a turn off button for these gems? Please

I love these new gems! But, unsurprisingly, they are bugged. [Reported] Potion gems can grant first turn to AI hopefully there will be a fix early in the campaign? :crossed_fingers:

I saw that, but hoped I wasn’t paying attention to the moves.
A similar issue happened when troops first started exploding gems at the start of the match. Unfortunate always to see variations of the same issue introduced by new gimmicks coming.

I’m sure it’s the fault of all our “old devices” and playing on 4x though.
