Since whatever technology is behind the AIs, that are necroing threads here occassionally, will only get more pestering, I’d suggest to create a countermeasure while it is still not too urgent.
One pattern I notice so far is, that these beasts are quick, with a forum activity time under 1 minute. Might be possible to turn that against them without harming human players too much. I know, there might be users, who pre-type their postings in a notepad file (I’m doing so right now myself), but even then it should not be a too noticable restriction.
They are not aiming for this forum specifically, so there is hope, they will not try to adjust either. I hope, it would not be too difficult (or cause bugs) to implement an automatic restriction of this sort at some point in the next months.
