I had figured as much because stealing life probably would not be classified as “healing” from skills. Although, just for the sake of clarity, it should be treated that way for Astral Spire.

There are effects like Devour that could get complicated as well. Should the troop get 20% more life after devouring the target? Idk…

there’s a lot of semantics involved and like the Fortitude thread, it probably won’t end well so I’m not going in deep for it.

I feel like devour should give the extra 20% if Caprichor is also going to gain extra life for a self-boost (would slightly help make Vash’Dagon more interesting), but it’s also not the hill I’m going to stake anything on.

P.S. Vash’Dagon doesn’t get extra life from the Green heal node either. (Devour an ally doesn’t count for gaining life)

Haven’t you tested a lion capstone? will it work on a resurrecting troops like an evil dragons?

Waning Portal does trigger from what I’ve seen. It’s been nice to (sometimes) stop things like Obsidian Librum and on death traits.

There’s no good way to test it against evil dragons sadly. 30% chance (level 1 version) to negate a summon that’s already only 15% chance and then there’s no visual notification that anything happened.
