This guy will easily clear the field with 2 casts.
STRYGIK.
Boost ratio is a great offense advantage for Arena stats. Wipes out in 2 casts. Or one cast and others’ spam casts or skulls.
An early game favorite because of that damage boost. If you get lucky with a column having 5 yellow gems lined up maybe even just 1 cast would do it.
I actually didn’t mind using Fomorian for the 5x5 mana generation – don’t know if that counts as broken, though.
+1 for this, especially if he’s in last spot…
Sand Runner.
Hits top and bottom for base damage, then a random troop for twice that.
All three/four (count ‘em how you like ‘em) hits can be doled out on a single target if it’s the last troop the opponent has.
Crazy strong, that is.
LAVA ELEMENTAL
Kills one troop with a single cast. Fills relatively fast too. Doesn’t break the Arena, but is a very good troop to have in arena.
It’s the burn damage that makes it a pain in the elemental.
Crab man wrecks in arena
Not really – true damage, poison, bleed decimates him.
Only if his summons wont kil you faster than these debuffs will kill him + you need to be offered troops that have these effects on cast… (which might not happen).
Summer Knight - good frontliner.
Destroys row, gains barrier and attack + armor based on red gems destroyed.
Vlad the Unsated → steal life boosted by his life,
1st cast = 11 life stolen, 2nd cast = 14 life stolen (if undamaged).
I’m wondering if the real issue might not be that troops are only at level 15, making them prone to get killed by quite a lot of spells. This could probably fixed by increasing the troop level to 20, due to health/armor growing faster than magic. However, this would introduce another issue, Arena runs taking even longer.
Elwyn is by far one of the most deadly single target troops in Arena. His base damage is 10, but it is boosted by yellow gems destroyed in both a row and a column, by a factor of 7 per gem. 1 yellow gem = 17 damage, 2 yellow gems = 24 damage. How hard is it to find at least 2 yellow gems in both a row and column, even accidentally? And he destroys the rows, so he potentially loop himself into killing more troops. Incredibly OP.
LOL @ this combo…
I have Dragotaur boosting itself and the dragon above it with ridiculous Attack/Armor:
Meanwhile Wall of Tentacles keeps buffing everyone else:
And as your team starts getting wins on defense, others will soon get to enjoy it from the other side of the fence.
