A call against resource-based tasks

Most of the upcoming tasks in 5.0, I have zero problem with. Kill x demon enemies. Use a specific banner. Equip your hero with a bow. Those tasks are fine.
But, when you force players to SPEND resources, like gem or event keys, to advance in the campaign, it goes directly against the point of playing the game: To. Collect. Resources. At that point, they can either spend the task resource, spend gems to skip the task or skip playing the campaign anymore. NONE of these are good choices.
PLEASE change/drop those resource tasks BEFORE release.
