8.2 Update: 10th Anniversary!

Whose “brilliant” idea was it to take us out of the fight menu to the overview after every fight and why do they hate us?

Must be someone with perfect eyesight who is addicted to the clicker side of a fidget cube.

This is an actual question if anyone could enlighten me on any positive features I may be missing: I’m still comfortably sitting on 8.0 (dodged all 8.1 bugs), and see no reason to update aside from the alleged notifications fix…

Looks like you only need to do at least 3 of the 6 to get that triggered.

The adventure change is as abysmally poor and player-unfriendly as the change to explore. Way to many redundant clicks and time wasted. :nauseated_face:

Why do you keep focusing on aesthetic “improvements” that no one felt the need for instead of bringing back the guild wars? Many longtime players are tired and have abandoned the game, and the situation gets worse month after month. A year has passed, and you still haven’t done anything. Have you really shifted the game’s focus from guild wars to that pointless PvP? You’re throwing away everything good this game had.

I’m still extremely grumpy that I can’t READ the text displayed on the new Daily Plunder screen, unless I put the game in full screen mode on a 15’’ screen.

I sure hope that 8.2 also brought some bug fixes, because otherwise it feels… really meh.

They fixed the bug of there being not enough pointless clicks and overpriced cash offers.

Why are the top 3 tasks showing completed (in numbers ) in a nice golden background with a checkmark icon over them, but the bottom 3 are just showing “completed” in small unreadable font. Please just use one implementation. Use 3/3 or 4/4 with the golden background and checkmark icon for the bottom 3 tasks as well

It’s different types of tasks. The top ones are Exalted Goals, the bottom ones are Adventure Tasks. I guess with the haphazard way those icons got thrown on the map they wanted to give at least some hint on what they belong to.

I wonder if we’ll get some Happy Icon Dance similar to world events if some of the texts are long enough.

Then group tasks that belong together in some way. Or choose silver icons for the bottom tasks. This is just plain sloppy UX designing

As someone also over 2k, this is my biggest demotivator to play the game right now, and you’re right, it does feel like we are being punished for having the temerity to play their game.

I think I’m missing something. Why does clicking the adventure board task open and going to the related task just send me to the “digging for gems” task? Why aren’t these consolidated into one task on the Dailies screen?

Edit: Okay, I’m realizing the “adventure board” is now the bottom three tasks. But why is one of the top tasks to complete all the bottom tasks? Does this net you additional rewards? I don’t understand the point of the Adventurer task.

No, you haven’t. Just played a battle with Theodorovich who managed to summon a few times. He had godlike stats by the end.

the khafru bug is still not fixed after i updated with today’s supposed fix. i got locked out on my phone though i dont know what caused it cz it happened after a lot of battles suddenly.
