That’s all I’m asking, I love the challenge but for god sakes make the per match rewards worth it. Especially if we do buy all the tiers then come on.
I guess for some strange reason people makes things deeply personal:
“The devs are trying to rob me of my gems!”
“OH MY GAWD! THIS NEW FEATURE IS NOT PANDERING TO MY TASTES! IT’S LIKE I CAN’T EVEN PLAY THE REST OF THE GAME ANYMORE!!!”
“How dare they make a leaderboard where i can’t be the first place like i clearly deserve on my own terms? Such absurd!”
I just know that when they did the gem nerf we all used our voices and we were heard.
So as long as we keep it up something’s gotta give!
As long as it’s reasonable too, i wouldn’t be surprised if some players would think that giving everyone all cards fully upgraded, 3 billion souls, 1 billion of glory and 1 million gems should be considered a valid reward for completing one explore battle… (Oh, and by the way we would still get the normal rewards from explore, traitstones are important!)
I’m pretty sure this is a “producer” thing. They probably said “either make more money or we’re shutting you down”. They lost a load of players from an earlier patch and this will just continue to drain them even more as like you said they took away thousands of gems from players that were getting them regularly every week. Charge more for less with this raid thing and hoping nobody would notice. Of course some didn’t if you look at the leaderboard this week but they will soon see the investment isn’t worth the prize. I saw it right off it was a money grab for buying gems at $99 a pop. They must be on drugs if they think a slew of people are going to waste that kind of money on nothing.
If you notice they take away everything good. Constantly and give us more and more crap. Like the AI and the board. There’s so many skulls on the map now I can hardly ever use valk or anything else that blends with another color because of all the dam skulls. Exploders are the only useful thing and what did they just nerf (Dragon Soul) an exploder. Probably because it was stopping mab in her tracks and Salty can’t have her precious mab being stopped.
The ai cascades are out of hand with the ai taking globs of gems now not just 4 or 5. In the raid the raid boss got full mana on one turn with the cascades and how properly every gem fell in place from the sky and of course they still say it doesn’t cheat. lol
I don’t blame anyone for wanting to quit and most especially for supporting this by buying stuff with real money. They took a once great and fun game and have turned it into annoying frustrating crap.
Based on Sirrians spreadsheet calculations you can remove ‘likely’ and replace it with the word ‘absolutely’. (Assumes the entire Guild stops at 2).
Absolutely, I’m not asking for nothing crazy, just look at pvp rewards and go from there. I’m just asking if @Sirrian and his team even thought of rewards per match. If they increase as you go then that is more of a incentive to buy tiers and play it more.
I agree, let’s meet in the middle.
I think you just need to see things from other perspective.
Any reasonable person would notice that the investiment is too high and the payoff is highly insubstantial. But a few people can probably pay for it.
All the rest of us will use some gems depending of their current situation so we can assume players are buying Raid Shop Tiers up to 3 or 4 which is a lot of gems already. So in theory we could assume that some of us will eventually get the Daily Gems deal to compensate the missing gems and in this sense they are boosting sales by creating a new demand for gems that wasn’t present until now.
Is it a money grab? Of course not, you can still keep your gems and simply play the feature for free, or not play at all. Eventually you can get the “Cuddly Panda Warrior” it’s not an exclusive like in many other F2P games out there!
Even if the feature would ask for gems to be played it wouldn’t be a money grab, it would be some sort of paid content, but since we can get gems for free anyway it’s up to you if you want to use them however you like.
So far in this matter i see nothing wrong with Raids at all. I do see some flaws that need some tweaks to make the Raid Shop more appealing.
One more thing: is some of the Portal Rewards the entire Guild worked on are LESS THAN 1 regular PvP battle.
P3: 2.5k Gold, 250 Souls, 8 Runics.
Three are other week ones too. Seriously All of them need Orbs added, with the P10 Should be more than a single Major Orb and some pocket change you can find in 2 PvP battles too.
Yes this is a portal that has “nothing”. It’s a sure target for my suggestion to buff the rewards into something more substantial.
I really don’t understand what is making endgame players so mad here.
I see a guy claiming he’s done with 13,000,000 gold and 2,000,000 souls plus 170,000 glory hoarded up. He didn’t list how many gems he has, but given those numbers it’s easy for me to believe “thousands”.
What the heck is a “reasonable reward” for a player at that level supposed to look like? What on earth can the devs implement that this kind of player doesn’t consume in 5 minutes, then spit out and ask for more? I don’t think it makes sense to give them gold or souls. I don’t think it makes sense to give them glory or even gems. We can imagine super-expensive troops with power levels above the average mythic, but then PvP and other modes are going to take a REALLY bad tilt.
That level is what ‘finished’ looks like for a game. It’s not the end of the world if you leave when you get to the point it makes no sense to spend money. There are thousands of games out there, and hundreds are worth your time. It shouldn’t be a big drama bomb when you decide you’ve reached the end.
This thread and that behavior feels as if way back in 1989, I beat Bowser, then said “Psst not enough endgame content, let’s get a refund for the NES.”
I very strongly hope I don’t ever reach that phase of the game, because it means any one major frustration will be enough to make me hop onto a different treadmill.
True! I’ve spent all the gems I want to spend on the raid. I’d like to spend more, but I feel like the stuff I’ll get from the traitstone tiers isn’t worth my expectation of what those gems will get me next week.
You’re missing the point here, I think we all just want per match rewards to be equal to the fight we are doing.
Exactly.
It’s pretty simple.
A boss fight that takes 15 minutes or more shouldn’t give less rewards than an normal mode explore battle. That’s just ridiculous.
And I’ll repeat myself until my voice is heard! I bought tier 7 twice and will use every sigil. But next time can we have it fixed?
Give us a great reason to blow our gems and we will.
I bought 2 by accident. Because it’s very easy to click it twice, no indicator or anything, just a click and gone.
I’d like to see that fixed too. Since we are the beta testers and all.
Do remember(if you saw his stream talking about it) majority of them was due to bug exploiting with doing leg tasks with his guild and spending the gems they got on gold to repeat as much as possible which came to the nerfing of leg tasks, in sight it makes it even difficult for majority of players to even get a scratch of stuff or something decent within the leg tasks considering they only give 100 glory, 4 ev keys an 8 gem keys which all give lame should add atleast vip keys to em or something.
Honestly, why should a boss need others to fight his battles? I thought it would be just himself. I never understood why all four slots need to be filled with every game mode. All I have seen is another gimmick to rake in more $$$ from players who think they need to. Apparently, enough of them need to. Hence, why they keep raking in the dough. Smart business model, huh?
Soldiers have been asking this about generals and politicians since time immemorial.
