On the topic… I just traited my Kraken and had like a week of joy being able to do some higher level battles… This sucks pretty bad.
Two color stars meshed together is kinda stupid decision in my opinion. 1 god star + four blue stars equals… wait,is it a level 5 or 6 now? Hmmm… ok, I think it’s 6. Yeah. It’'s level 6. I think. Meh.
If they insist on having 1-5 blue and 6-10 gold, then they should have put a numbers 1-5 inside a big blue star and 6-10 inside big gold star when you reach the color change and that’s it.
Have the GW unique bonuses not gone into effect yet? I switched up my teams and it says “Potential bonus points this werk for having 24 unique troops: 0”

My post will be irrelevant as there is too much hate above (with reason!).
I never paid for any feature using GoW. Me and my gf were thinking to do it, but we stopped ourselves at time (just after the Unity update).
If I paid anything and open the game today, I would feel discouraged. Angry. Would save for a plane to Australia to make a friendly visit. It’s completely unnaceptable. Everything goes in one direction, money.
And yes, money is the final goal of every business, no problem at all, but this game was charming before and made a lot of people contribute to it’s development. It also has a very positive community for a F2P game. But what are these changes? Confusing UI that always FORCES you to click one or two times more than before. Think about. The rewards were nerfed because we generate too much resource. Now, we will spend some more time in the disgusting generic menus to get less even.
Then, you need to hear that the devs play this game. If you play this game, you’re forced to navigate this interface. I can’t believe anyone with common sense finds this interface better than the previous and simple one. Too much useless information around. You don’t know what you’re pressing, how many stars you have and how much mana you collected.
The Unity update was bad overall fucking up the code as it adapted the console one (with several complains over the time) instead to keep the one used for PC/mobile. The interface was already less functional, but hey, something people could survive. Now it’s not.
To keep one positive thing, at least you can filter with multiple colors now. That’s it. The rest is complete bullshit.
Don’t get offended or pointed by my language, it’s still a game and is nothing personal. Just is a game that me, and many other people enjoyed for so long, and just looks you’re trying to get it buried.
I only have one suggest. Go play your game. This build and a previous one, preferably pre-unity. Wonder that you have been working the whole day and you just want to play some short and fast games. Something simple (not speaking to win or lose, just the “plug & play” feeling). Compare both and decide what’s more appealing.
The answer should be: “This is not GoW anymore”.

i don’t know but if it was tested before launching then your team must have known about it and now what we are getting? everyone has problem regarding to it… because of this your team might have “OVERTIME” at office.
bug issue so so many “will be fix” that i read that’s great…

I think we are all looking at it the wrong way. The devs need congratulating on finally ruining gems of war. Prior to this patch it was done bit by bit on each update, now they’ve really pushed the boat out.

Wisps were not really affected. They still fill first turn. In my opinion they either needed to lose fast or the untargeting trait.

Yes, Wisps still fill in one turn, but the loss of Purple Match and the one extra mana should help to make them fill slower for future casts.
I haven’t come to a full conclusion on the changes as I haven’t come across many wisp teams, but I can see what the devs intended to accomplish.
I can confirm the troop targeting bug also works on iOS (iPad Pro). There were some questions elsewhere about the extent of this.
Posts like this don’t help matters at all. Please post constructive feedback to help make the game better.
Don’t just say it’s trash say what is wrong, why and suggest how to improve it.
It is abundantly clear what is wrong, just look at the forum and all the posts. The only way the game can be made better is to revert back to previous UI, if it’s not broken then don’t fix it.

Please, please, please put a gray backdrop on the gem matching board, so myself and my other players can stop having visual problems, getting dizzy and catching headaches. I don’t want to lose half my Guild.

For what it is worth it, I do like the amount of information now available.
I can see on one glance the level of my income, how far my class is levelled, etc, and I am greatly happy about that.
Also more monster information.
All of that is very welcome.
It’s the… UI Elements/Graphics that aren’t so good.

Ill just keep this short, I hate the update, frustrated enough to not even break down everything at this point, last update was annoying enough, this is terrible.
I can honestly say revert out ALL changes is my vote back to prior patch version of game.
Going to be giving my guild mates the sad news of my final end, good job GoW, you finally got me to quit.

I believe they will listen to the feedback and make changes accordingly. Everyone hang in there. That’s what I’m doing. At least wait for the response.
