Your Best Team & Strategies

Goblin rockets also a good team

  • goblin rocket
  • goblin rocket
  • steam turret
  • goblin rocket

With banner of progress (yellow/red)
Bonus (2 + life zajin troops)
+4 armor 3 unique construct troops.

Steamturret @ level 17 with fire spirit buff does 19 dmg split among enemies.

Goblin rockets are very spammy but ah well if you just remove the 9 gems cell good enough you fill up 2 cards most of the time (fire link) plus they are very tanky. 1 out of 10 challenges only one gob rocket dies I play on ps4 and Warlord 2.

one of those troops is not like the other.

At the moment i prefer to use

  • Knight Coronet (all traits)
  • Shadow Dragon
  • Alchemist
  • Infernal King

Banner +2 yellow or +red/+brown

Itā€™s very rare to lose a game - even against the strongest teams. Its pretty much straight forward. Alche fills up knight and dragon, dragon turns yellow into purple, knight gets buffed from purple and infernal can clear a lot and refill alchemist.

Iā€™d love to replace infernal against keeper of souls - but i donā€™t own him.

See, the problem is a lot of these teams I can make, but Iā€™m strongarmed into using Valkyrie in all of my teams because I just cant afford to not get the souls. Sure, if I were level 500 I could just make a team to my hearts desire, but unfortunately, souls rank first and foremostā€¦ and that really limits your team-making abilities.

Right now my main team (farming/pvp general) that out of 200 battles Iā€™ve only lost 3 times with is:

Knight Coronet (fully traited)
Valkyrie (fully traited)
Alchemist (2 traits)
Sun Weaver (2 traits)

The knight coronet is the powerhouse typically dealing between 40 - 50 damage every time he pops off. Valkyrie and alchemist are there to pump mana, shuffle the board and get 4-5 gem matches while searching for skulls. Coronet fully traited allows him to be a meat shield and absorb skull damage while you focus on refilling valkyrie and alchemist to fire off coronet again. I usually get to fire him off every turn, every other at the most.

Sun Weaver is a bit unconventional but since she shares the same colors as knight coronet she gets all the spill over from alchemist and valkyrie once he fills (which is all the time). She generally sits at the bottom unused until either I canā€™t make a match 4+ with alchemist or valkyrie (rare) and coronet is not filled. This buffs coronet to either refill his lost life while he tanks, refills half his mana, and gives him a healthy dose of attach so that while skulls fall during alchemist and valkyries matches he can wail on them.

Like I said, I have like 10 (legit, not ascended to) legendaries, but none of the teams utilize valkyrie and are as unstoppable as this oneā€¦ and itā€™s pretty easy to make. (sun weaver being the highest tier troop, which you can get from a kingdom quest line).

I guess Iā€™ll throw my team out there for comment.

Behemoth
Mercy - only fully traited
Valkyrie
Druid

Mercy feeds Valk who feeds Behemoth and Druid. I Usually just Behemoth everyone to death. I like the cascades and finish off with Druid. The only real mainstays are Behemoth and Valkyrie. Sometimes swap Druid for Sheggra to get a red in there. Any other suggestions with those two?

#Original Blue

my best well-rounded team

Khorvash
Mercy
Valkyrie
Plague

All must be fully traited, Lion banner

strategy:

  1. first turn, find any purple and yellow together that can form 4 or 5 link together, cast Mercy (Divine Grace) (she has ā€œEmpoweredā€ starting battle with full mana)
  2. that will fill up valkyrie. Once Valkyrie filled up, start turning any color into blue (cast Valhalla) to find any match of 4 or 5 gems together, that will fill up Khorvash ā†’ Mercy ā†’ Plague
  3. repeat the loop of endless 4 or 5 gems link (or manually match 4 or 5 gems together on the board) and Mercy-Valkyrie loop combo which will fire off Plagueā€™s last trait (i personally think Aspect of Plague is one of the most powerful traits in the game).
  4. when you canā€™t find any more 4 or 5 gems matches, cast Plagueā€™s spell (Outbreak)
  5. enemies will be severely debilitated by the combo because of Aspect of Plague (you can start laughing at their stats (att, shield, hp and mana; they barely tickle you even if they manage to match skulls or cast some spells, dealing minimal damage to you)
  6. enemies can hardly gain any mana to fuel their spells because of Outbreak (disease + poison)
  7. cast Khorvashā€™s Crown of Anu whenever you feel like you have to, or if you have nothing else to do

Traits and spells:
khorvash has damage reduction from skull 25%
khorvash will stun everyone (except if they have traits to block it)
Valkyrie has Water Link can easily fill up your whole team with the loop combo
Mercy has Cleanse and can give 18hp to whoever weakest and need it most (Khorvash being in the first spot usually gets the love from Mercy, Mercy will always keep khorvash alive) (Cleanse is extremely important spell because you will definitely want to get out of frustrations from Entangle, Queen Mabā€™s frozen, stuns, Death Mark, just to name 4 most powerful negative buffs)

this team is extremely powerful and extremely fast

One major weakness with this team:
ā†’ always try to keep Khorvash alive. Once he is dead, you will start to feel the punch because he is the main attacking force of the team (Mercy, Valkyrie and Plague they donā€™t have offensive spells)

P.S. Have i mentioned how OP Plague is? He is so underrated. i seriously rolled my eyes when i saw people complaining about how underwhelming Plague is. Yup, plague does not pack with a One-Hit-KO spell, but he is a very solid support unit. Definitely my favorite out of all Mythics available to this date. I have tons of mythics in my collection, but i love Plague the most.

Necromancy, though not illegal like necrophilia, is still heavily frowned upon :scream:

Nice list!

Me adding to the pot here. I have a lot of teams built, but will just note my current one.

Currently using :

  • Krystenax
  • The Dragon Soul
  • Infernus
  • Ragnagord

Even with the changes to mana shield and revive it will not change my use of TDS. Because when I play him he rarely if ever revives. And Iā€™ve used him tonssssss. So I reserve its a benefit for the AI and not myself. As for mana shield it comes in handy every now and again, but also not often enough to worry over losing it. So before changes its a good team and will continue to be a good team even after the update.
