another great idea so i thought its worth to be put in the right topic:

Hm. Brainstorming…

Require a player to set multiple defense teams.
Require that no two teams contain duplicate troops.
Randomly pick one of the defense teams for that player whenever they come up in PvP.

The UI for that might get ugly, of course.
