We need more updates

When will we have a new kingdom in the game, or at least more troops for the kingdoms that were recently added? We can’t level up certain kingdoms because there aren’t enough troops in them to meet the requirements. While some kingdoms that already have enough troops continue to gain more and more (including mythic ones), others are abandoned. The same goes for hero weapons. There are kingdoms with several (sometimes even more than one condemned), while others remain forgotten and even without condemned weapons. Regarding creating a new kingdom, we have troops in the game that don’t belong anywhere. We could have a kingdom/class related to Apocalypse or Guardian troops. I wish we had more new Guardian troops that aren’t yet represented, like Wildfolk, Seafolk, Giants… or even new Tower troops or warbands… They’re giving so much importance to Dragons that they already have dozens of mythic troops, while others are forgotten…

Besides that, it’s worth mentioning the class rebalancing again. They could at least change their level 100 skills to better benefit all troops on the team. Two examples: giving ALL allies more armor, health, or attack at the start of each turn. Giving all allies more attribute points, or taking points from the opposing team when they collect 4 gems. Since changing all the class trees seems unfeasible, at least changing the last skill to something more versatile would transform some classes from useless to more interesting.

there are PLENTY widely desired updates to work on

Do you understand how this would work at cross-purposes to one another? If you want more attention paid to certain kingdoms, adding in a bunch of new kingdoms that would require even more attention “as to catch up” would inhibit the ability of the developers to pay the requested attention to the kingdoms you want focused on now.

I believe that there are a lot of people out there who don’t really recognise just how many new troops the developers release. Because it’s a lot. Sure, it’s divided by the 38 kingdoms we now have, but there are a huge number of new troops rolled on a very regular basis. To break it down:

  • There’s a five-week cycle of Monday-Sunday events. During that cycle, we receive eight new troops: 1 Glory Shop troop per week, plus 1 Siegebreaker (Invasion), 1 Godslayer (Raidboss), and one Pathfinder (Journey).
  • There’s a four-week cycle of Friday-Sunday events. (Thursday for Guild Wars.) During that cycle, we receive two new troops: a Bounty captain plus something for Faction Assault.
  • We receive a new mythic on the first Friday of the month.
  • There’s an 11-week Campaign cycle, during which we receive a mythic and a Tarot/legendary.
  • There’s an 11-week PvP cycle, during which we receive two Immortals/mythics, a PvP shop mythic, and a PvP shop legendary.

Summing all that up in a year? We get 10.4 Monday cycles, making for 83 or 84 troops. We get 13 Friday cycles, making for 26 troops. We get 12 monthly mythics. We get 4 or 5 of the 11-week cycles, and they’re offset so that we’ll get slightly more than 9 total cycles of the two – for the sake of making your argument (slightly) more potent, we’ll deem it that we get 5 campaigns and 4 PvP seasons, which would make for 5x2 + 4x4 troops or a total of 26.

That’s already 147 new troops per year without adding in the occasional two-week event randomly dropping for a new Legendary (like the one for Cosmo currently in progress), a Kingdom pass that would add 3-4 troops of random rarities, the possibility that a new batch of Dragonite troops might emerge, et cetera.

Or roughly 4 troops per kingdom per year already.

Certain kingdoms do seem to lend themselves to being used for certain events more often. Which leaves other kingdoms to pick up the slack for Tower of Doom weeks. It’s unfortunate, but the answer isn’t to homogenize every kingdom by making them all the same.

Better the developers work on balancing what they already have instead of creating more troops of a certain archetype because “this kingdom/class/trooptype doesn’t have X”.

The level 100 skills come out of those class trees. There probably isn’t a way to do what you’re asking them to do without a massive re-working of that particular mechanic. And while it’s something that would be useful, it’s not where I’d want the developers and coders to focus their efforts because I feel there are thing that should be addressed much sooner.

And how much good would it do when Elementalist still has an overpowered third trait that leads to it being used in everything?
