Pretty sure they are doing weekly goals, not tasks.
So, like the last times we’ve had weekly goals, we just kill a ton of a set colour enemy, and get rewards free. The top reward is usually the current event pet, and before it was introduced, they used to just mail everyone that pet.
I assume the star stones will replace one of the rewards on the list, other than the top one, which will still be a pet. But that’s not confirmed. Maybe they’re making star stones the top prize and moving the pet elsewhere, or sending it for free, like they used to. That would be great.

Not sure if anyone’s mentioned this already…
I’m not impressed that Legends Reborn seems to overlap precisely with Guild Wars.
You could, at least, have given us a few days to do it before Guild Wars starts, by starting Legends Reborn on Monday.
(Unless LR continues into the following week, in which case I take this back.)
