I cannot replicate this at all on 8.5, if someone else can and get a video or screenshots.
What colour map is your keep on? Maybe it is based on the colour of the map?
Green map seems to work fine with the restrictions not being locked when returning to PvP or Underspire.

People getting the GW restrictions issue again, can you let me know if it resolves like last time by closing and relaunching the game?
A proper fix is expected in 8.6
Also seems to possibly related to using a controller on pc, so also all consoles.

GW restrictions are applied globally to everything but weekly events (tod/journey), I reported it back to prev GW
Also, new epic luther “explode 2-4 gems” and useless traits dont feels like an epic troop, esp considering this weekly troop, just compare them!
