Iāve 100% mapped my Underspire for the week using all those extra Torches that came raining down upon me after the second reset. (I have several dozen remaining; I hope they carry over to next week so I donāt have to spend more Gems on them.)
Only two Guardian rooms in this entire (post-second-reset) Underspire:

The Hoard Mimic nightmare is not a valid comparison. With six randomly generated troops and the low drop rate, the comparison might be considered the Hoard Mimic nightmare multiplied by the Gem Dragon nightmare. Unfortunately, the same formula will be the odds of collecting the complete set.
From the release notes, only lanterns and trinkets persist from week to week.
Itās going to be worse than that. A lot worse.
For the Hoard Mimic, it was possible to simply grind excessive amounts of Explore and generate a huge number of attempts at Mythic Bosses and beyond in any given span of time.
For Gem Dragons, there were other ways to accumulate Dragonite than by simply achieving a perfect run on a Daily Dungeon.
Neither of those are going to apply here. Even if the Sentinels were a much higher percentage drop out of their pool, your limit for a week is whatever the Underdelve spawns for you. Weāll probably have a better idea of the numbers in a week or three as the community generates enough data in their reporting to know better, but itās very possible that it will deliberately be a low number on a given week. And itās one that will still require a fair amount of effort and spending to even discover how unlucky one can be in that week.
For example, my Underdelve had two (2) Sentinels this week. (The one generated after the second reset.)
RNG at work, I guess. Iāve found 12 sentinel dead ends this week, and maybe more tomorrow.
U guys have made good points. I made the comparison to the hoard mimic because it was the only instance where u could win a troop card from fighting the actual troop itself.
The hoard mimic can be grinded for as long as u want with unlimited attempts, but treasure guardians have a very low drop rate (5.6% chance I think?) on limited attempts for the whole week. (Plus the extra torch and lantern cost of scouting out all the rooms).
I would urge people to try and play under spire as they normally would with optimal paths finding, going for the highest level to find the next door, and then determining the most likely place where the boss dragon would be. To hell with the treasure guardians.
I havenāt done the math on this but big shout out to everyone and @NerdieBirdie for gathering data on the treasure guardian room loot pools. Your efforts are much appreciated.

After finishing the last Boss room, I decided to use a few Torches to explore the nearby paths and found a Common Room which gave me 20 Shards as reward.
