Sounds correct. All they should have to do is check the server logs (during a very specific time interval) for large batches of Shiny Keys being issued and/or cashed in (which likely includes at least some information about the actual drops), and once they have that precise information it should be pretty easy to correct/revert.
I remember them saying it would be a while before they were added. Given they were selling them for an event, it makes sense they keep them exclusive for a time, normally.
We all knew this was a bug and we was never going to keep them, hence why I got them because I played the game and Green troops was killed. I haven’t used them because I knew that they would be rolling them back.
While you are taking back the keys, tokens and dust fix the annoying issue where you cant skip after battle. You’re quick enough to fix things that benefit us players. Absolute joke
Actually, the correct reward was supposed to be a low number of shiny keys, likely 5, the number just didn’t get entered correctly. Azaleus’ Bumblebee was the reward the previous week, it’s entirely useless now that players have maxed out the pet. Any chance we could get the intended proper reward instead of a lump of coal?
Most troops eligible for shiny keys are worthless outside of the event that featured them. Upgrading troops I already obtained was nifty but I was glad to get some for upcoming troops. Especially for the dumb Journey events where the event troop is useless unless fully shined. Otherwise they just create enough gems to benefit the a.i.
I’m really getting tired of playing events with 1 troop or weapon we never cast. Like Journey, ToD, etc.
It’s been a long time since they came out with a good Doom weapon. They would do well to release some good ones. They made a killing on flash offers for the 12 good Doom weapons. Plus people got more ToD tiers to fully temper them. Currently there’s no real motivation.
Word has it that the “fix” isn’t “removing excess shiny keys”, it’s setting shiny keys to 0, no matter how many of them players previously owned. Can anybody confirm or deny?
